Trejo was hit first. He only walked up to confront them (which is perfectly legal) about throwing water balloons into his car. He was then assaulted by multiple extremely violent people. He attempted to defend himself, and his friend tried to help him, but the other people continued viciously attacking him for no reason.
It was a mistake to participate in that event in the first place. Next time tell them to go fook themselves.
