About the key chain holder that you made - could you get some little S hooks to put on it to hold the key chains? You could glue them in place to stop them getting in the way or falling off 🙂

Hi, new to your channel~ How did you find the courage/motivation ect to not only go to an art convention but also reserve a table for 2 days? I've always wanted to go to the local art conventions here(I'm in boston), not only for fun but to sell my art too.But I've always lost the nerve to each year as large crowds bring up bad memories and make me nervous. I'd also worry I wouldn't sell anything once I'm there.
@@jmintart3301 Crowds are exhausting and scary but I think if you go into it with the confidence that you will sell something, it helps a lot. For me, I make fan art stickers that I KNOW would resonate with people, like Chunky Yoshi (and I was right, it was my best seller). So people were often drawn in by my fanart and then I'd tell them about my original art and they'd buy some of that too. I would just recognize what people actually like to buy and make art in those categories (only if you like them too!) so the bulk of my art is mainly popular animals like cats, dogs, ducks, cows, etc, and also fanart of popular games or shows etc.

Q: What are your best sellers that aren't stickers? Is it worth making keychains, magnets, or bookmarks (starting out) from a costs vs. profits perspective?
I'd say all of those categories sell really well and the profit margin is insanely high on everything in this type of shop. My cards are one of my best sellers and they cost very little to produce. All you need is cardstock and an envelope! I'll elaborate more in my future video
They really have to take all the keychains off to get the one they want? Why not just unclipping the one you want right off the stand😅 that makes a lot more sense I think😅

The clips are super durable so it's really hard to unclip them
