This lion king themed routine welled my eyes with tears specially the unforgettable pyramid section! I can live with it!
Good first pyramid strategy, even if the 3rd level on the left side of the pyramid failed to mount then the second level still can full support the mount of the pyramid tranasition. You can see that the second level base is signaling to throw up the flyer to her with full confidence even if the pyramid is incomplete, And the creativity of their pyramids are also there.
Next year come here in the Philippines and feel the intensity of the UAAP Cheerdance competition. This is one of the anticipated event here in UAAP. Hopefully we'll see each other. God bless you and More power ❤

Dancers and performers knew how to comment and appreciate performances while others keep bashing and focusing on entertainment alone. Thank you Cherita. Majority of UP's members has no background on cheerleading or gymnastics and started from scratch ; while 50% of Adamson's members are rookies. Despite all these challenges, they're able to showcase these wonderful routines and I am really happy that you enjoyed it 😊
LAR 1896 Oh please! Stop using "has no background in cheerleading" as a reason why this squad didn't made it to the podium, so.... decades ago Adamson, NU and UE kaya hindi nagpo-podium before doesn't have background in CheerDANCING most of their athletes aren't dancers but Adamson and UE still manages to be in podium years 2000+ alam naman natin ang UP Pep (Filipiñana) ay dancers and UST SDT kaya madali na lang sa kanila ang makapasok ng podium.

LAR 1896 Not hating you pero mas lalo ko lang kinamu-muhian itong UP Pep na dating isang favorite ko kapag ginagamit ang dahilan na "UP has no background in etc. etc. etc...." Kilala silang top University sa Pilipinas tapos maririnig mo ganiyan? Ika nga nila kung ayaw may dahilan kung gusto may paraan. AdU, UE and NU was treated as a joke during the time of the so called triumvirate nakita ko kung gaano pagtawanan ang mga yan kapag papasok na ako ng arena mga bulungan na maririnig kung sino ang top 3 at bottom 3 pero sa kabila ng lait na natanggap nila wala tayong narinig sa kanila (AdU, NU and UE) dati na "hindi kasi dancers mga athletes namin barely students lang na walang alam sa pagsasayaw at hindi hilig ang CDC/pagsayaw"

I don't know where your argument is coming from because as a UAAP fan, I totally think that the podium finishers this year deserve their success and I will always wish for underdog teams to make their way to the top. I am a fan of NU ADU and UE, but that wouldn't stop me from appreciating the works of other squads.
LAR 1896 Yup, you never said that but the reason is really invalid and cannot be accepted sa isang fan na tulad ko wala ako'ng pakialam kung may background or wala pinili mo ang sport na yan ikaw mismo ang gagawa ng paraan para makaangat ka.
UP Pep and UST SDT recruited students that have background in dancing and they also recruit student barely has nothing but eagerness to learn moreover kapag dancer ka you'll be place in the competing team agad while AdU, UE and NU mema recruit lang before kaya nga "once in a blue moon" sa kanila ang podium dati swerte na lang sa kanila kung may mga dancers na gustong makapasok sa team.
The bottom line of this is those 3 bottom contenders before never used such an argument that they lack the recruitment, skills and especially is support to think what most really they got is embarrassing jokes, humiliation and being called as trying hard to be FEU, UP or UST. But we never heard one of them saying na "kulang kami sa ganito ganiyan" narinig ko 'to recently sa Captain ng UP Pep eh may sinabi pa siyang "iba ang competition ngayon" parang may something na kulang when she said it basta something lacking sa kanila.

Hello Cheerita, as for UP Pep Squad they're really not natural gymnast like the other teams but their dance are really impeccable eversince, thats their arsenal in cheerdance but sadly as the competition goes by other teams do improved the level of difficulty got higher and i think 4 out of 8 teams in UAAP have their squad are skilled gymnast, UP PEP, Ateneo and DLSU are those teams in UAAP who do not recruit any gymnast for their teams, UP Pep in the other hand had no any means of financial capability to recruit cuz they're just a gov't funded university who relies only in alumni sponsorship
@jonas datinguinoo unfortunately the system injected to the squad is what hinders them from getting better they always reasoned out their financial incompetence, you have a point but training hard and being dedicated will not be enough, skills can be taught but ofcourse if its much better if your gifted with talent, you can do more so much complicated and difficult stunts, example is NU pep a vast pool of gymnast who can execute a really difficult cheerleading skills.

Nagpapatawa ata ito? Recently UP recruited a gymnast I could have mention it but mapapahiya lang siya kasi isa siya below ave. student and least expected na makakapasa sa UP. I see her right there the name is J***************
Adamson and UE also I think are homegrown athletes (mostly). But UE struggled the most when recruiting Pep members as mentioned by their Head Coach same with Ateneo and La Salle, with sheer hardwork UE made them stand out last year, 2017, recruitment is not an excuse if they fervently want it they will make a way to achieve their goal.
Batman Justice Next CDC.... YUPI morons will complete the satanic triple 6 (666). After nilang mag-inarte they came back with a Televised MOA Practice with a Back-from-the-Boycott Self-Pity Theme they landed 6th. Following year SABLAY Theme, only the blind could not see how the SABLAY was incorporated with their routine. SABLAY na sablay they landed 6th again. Finally this year ung last na 6th then complete na ung Satanic 666 nila since Boycott. Actually I think this really reflects their attitude na satanic behavior. Wity tlga kau huh! May patern! 666! Wait I heard after nung Utak Pagong routine nung S78, Pam-presentation nlng daw ung sayaw nila... higihihihi. 😂😂. After mag boycott biglang "for YUPI community only” "presentation” "they expressed” ang banat 😂😂😂. Kayu tlga! Halatang napag-iwanan na.
