Shout out to all my homies in the States who felt that mood when Garnt said the egg shape makes it taste better. Reese's pumpkins and eggs had the best chocolate to peanut butter ratio.
Conner only likes cylinder mugs is because he can dip a full biscuit in the cup without having to break it. Trust me I'm the same way 🤣
But there are also cylinder mugs that are frustratingly just slightly too narrow for a full digestive, and they are the worst. Because they fill you with hope, only to destroy it.

They actually make a box with only the Maltesers Teasers in them. I bought them immediately, and the box is really full. 6 bucks for a huge box is a great price too.

As a Southeast Asian with Chinese roots, my mom was the same thing with Garnt’s mom. Our house used to have a collection of Chinese antiques like plates, cups, and cabinets.
My mum is also into collecting really nice place and cups, I remember we went on holiday to Rome 6 years ago and she found this little crockery shop and she bought so many plates that we had fit some into our own luggage because we didn’t buy a second suitcase😂
You know making your own personality in your own room is interesting. Since growing up I didn’t really had poster either because no mony expect getting free ones. Wasn’t until maybe 16 when I started getting more good ones and into band flags. Which sums up allot now at age 28 my room is just full of flags around the house. No clue why.

My sister, who doesn't even live here anymore, still has her own mug and I am not allowed to use it. I also have my own one - had a different one before that, but my dumb sister dropped it and it broke...
Also, my mum has a bunch of mugs/cups too. One time she loaded so many on a glass shelf that the shelf just randomly broke one day.
Same, my brother has 2 mugs here that no-one uses. Granted one of them literally has his name on it but still.
My college dorm room doesn’t have posters because like Connor said I’m only there for a year. I have a pop figure on my desk though.

Just to chime in on the Uni room part. Some Uni's student accomodation have rules against posters on walls (the adhesive leaving marks on the wall paint), so there'd be some who'd avoid posters like the plague for fear of losing their deposit *raises hand*. Likely would've had more posters/pictures up if I knew of some wall tac that would guarantee not to stain the wall at the time.
Also the part about Connor's Uni halls. That depends on the Uni as some will have spaces or even dedicated returning student accomodation. I was in halls for all 4 years (always the spare in the friendship groups), although had a different flat each year. Does allow for meeting a good range of people though (if you have the luck of the draw).
i believe that i'm responsible for the maltesers teasers being available outside celebrations, having written impassioned email to mars incorporated many years ago.
I can confirm there is still that one guy with the absolute most heinous clips possible, somehow in every friend group.
Now I know why my mum and I are so obsessed with mugs 😆 we're Canadian, but my mum's grandparents were fresh off the boat.

I have a mug like that lol, it's got the Great Wave by Hokusai on it. I used to get so mad at my brother when he used it, but for good reason. He'd leave it half full for days and days until MOULD would form in it, like wtf man!!! 🤬

As someone who worked at World Market during the holidays… as soon as they said “quality street” and “celebrations” I knew exactly wtf they were talking about and I’m in the US.
I'm in Connor's side when it comes to mug types, a big and log shape mug for coffee. I use it a lot as a Uni student
Sitting here, as an Australian, drinking my coffee out of my favourite mug.... ahyup. We have those stupid easter egg mug things here too but people hardly ever buy them, why would you give someone a mug for easter? You give em chocolates like a sane person.
There's popsicles here in the Netherlands that also have multiple flavours per box and everyone always goes for the red. And they put the red one in the least. There's always like 1 or 2 red ones and the rest are all 2-3 yellow and green and orange ones. I even had a box without a red one >:(
The ones with 2 sticks you can pull apart? I always went with green I think.
Cherry Ripe is a mixture of desiccated coconut and glace cherries, coated in dark chocolate. Glace cherries are those candied cherries that almost look fake.

The edgy distributing kid was a thing in secondary school, in my university not at all. And people would definitely not tolerate it or hang out with anyone who tried it. They'd probably get banned from uni societies
I think joey is thinking of favourites instead of celebrations. although australia has both. Also for cherry ripe, you either love it or you absolutely hate it. more often than not people hate it in my experience.

as someone who knew 4 japanese who thought santa claus, jesus christ, and colonel sander is the one and same person. let me tell you : japanese doesn't care about religion, they go to shrine because it's literally fun. religious rules had became a way to respect culture, rituals became festival.
