- Modding out the Audi A5 with an AWETuning Touring package Catback Quad Exhaust along with a downpipe for maximum sound output! I have put sound clips from a dig, roll and cruising sounds for both Stock and with the new exhaust setup! I really like the new sound that its producing and I believe that AWETuning produces a very clean and powerful setup! I plan to get the Track setup for my challenger very soon! I'm running a 2k14 apr stage 1 tune, but otherwise stock. Have 2 Q's. (i) are you running the AWE downpipe paired with the touring dual outlet cat back? (ii) I take it you have the rear diffuser that works with the S-Line; know where to find one with non-S-line?

I just got a 2013 a5 and it's the best I came here to see the difference and I am NOT disappointed most definitely slapping a nice exhaust on it, anybody have any recommendations for a nice low growl sound, nothing too loud it's black so the noise will be fitting :)

There is zero drone.. although my entire car is dynamated. So, that might be different from yours.

Awesome car and I love the sound! I have a 2015 B8.5 A4 and recently had AWE touring quad exhaust installed. It still seems very quiet. Would like to add downpipe and see how much that changes the sound. Will also be removing CTS intake and going back to stock.

Make sure it got the new rings on the pistons due to the oil consumption issues. If not I'd suggest doing it when your timing is due also.

Depending on the improvement seen in performance, idk if this is worth doing the whole catback and a new downpipe for just the sound. I achieved the same tone but just a little quieter with just a resonator delete. DSG farts and all. Not hating, sounds great!!

I have an Audi A5 2.0 as well and I did a muffler and res delete and it’s sounds just like the awe touring setup he’s got rn , idk if it’s worth the whole setup anymore .

You probably need to get a tune to get pops and bangs. Thats usually a product of a specific tune.

Not even close to what I’d expect from an AWE exhaust, maybe needs a a cat or two removed? It’s super quiet.
Videos never do exhaust systems justice. It is louder in person and doesn't have that annoying farting sound that 4 bangers can produce.

@@Zack-jj8nn i put medium sound to not to be too loudy, good material (lifetime quality they said) from the beginning of the engine below to the very end going separate to both sides and if i remember correctly 4inchs size? Or 4cm? It's pretty nice natural sound medium" i have some fotos also when they put back then.
Fortunate you don't have the adblue crap. My a4 b9 nhas adblue and I really hate it. Can't have a twin pack of exhaust on each side and to make it sound loud it will cost me over 1k
