Everything cost a lot. Even McDonald's.

This is such a fantastic video of Aspen during the holiday season ! No annoying background music, just the normal sounds of the wind, people talking, the traffic.and whatever. The clarity of the video is also outstanding. All the colors just really pop on the screen. It's best watched with the lights out in a dark room to get the full night time effect. Great job !!

You did a great job on this video! Camera work as smooth as silk. My wife and I watched from our recliners on a 65" 4K Samsung screen sipping mugs of hot chocolate. It was like being there but without the boots and coats, LOL. Walking around in a beautiful ski town like Aspen after dinner on a ski vacation is exactly what we would do in our younger days.

Thank you! It's super nice and I admit, it is expansive. We stayed in Aspen in very low quality motel to bring down the price to reasonable level.

Unbelievably beautiful, prettiest town ever.
One of the most beautiful winter wonderlands I ever visited. Christmas is just so special there and the town's people were very friendly.

I knew Aspen many years ago through my favorite funniest movie: Dumb & Dumber. And I’m longing to visit this place ever since. Thank you for your beautiful video. I feel I am walking in in this town. This resonates with my childhood and young adult dreams of life in a northern big town during the holiday season, November through December.
You don't see very many people out and about and it's not because of the weather. Aspen, Colorado decades ago became the exclusive abode of the very wealthy, I wrote, "very". Someone who has a million dollars is the one serving coffee or the waitress at the restaurant. Multi-millionaires and billionaires are the ones who can afford to live in Aspen. Yes, some people do the long commute into Aspen for work, living far away.
That is why you don't see many people walking on the streets. If you or your family didn't buy Aspen property some sixty or more years ago in Aspen, it was too late by the 1980s. It was already getting that way in the 70s.
Still, Aspen has the location, the altitude, the northern wintry climate to give its uber-wealthy inhabitants the whole, warm and wintry and Christmasy feeling. I'm not begrudging anyone. It is what it is.
I met a single mother in southern California over ten years ago, who moved there from Colorado. She admitted there is a lot of beauty in Colorado but she tired of being shut in for six months out of the year due to cold weather. She eventually gave up and moved to year-round sunny southern California.
This means the typical Colorado native only really enjoys the autumn and early winter, three months at best. Come January, you can take the snow and cold weather.

I'm not a millionaire no where near actually, but we were able to stay in a motel and enjoy the town and the ambience and will likely come back, so it's still possible to visit and stay locally with a bit of research and booking early, but probably living there would be tough on the wallet.

Loved your Video beautiful scenery. The walk path is breathtaking, it wouldn't be winter without the crunching snow from walking on it. Colorado has some of the best winter scenery. I would be the one sitting by the window watching everything outside drinking a hot cocoa.
