It was about two years ago. I got a message from my friend Dave. It was when I was hunting a lot more than I do now. He was looking for an Ecto -1 that he heard was heavy on the detailing…….. at first they said you must be mistaken because the only one that I know about is the Jada that’s out right now at Toys “R” Us………. Then he showed me a picture of the box. I hunted him one down and then forgot about it…….. until recently when I purchased 3 3/4 action figs to go with my ERTL Ecto -1 ……….. the same series (Plasma Series)…… hmmmm. Then I remembered getting a bunch of good reports about the detailing on this car but back then I didn’t collect the stuff in 1/18 scale……
Fast forward to today. Me and Glenn are staring at this thing. Wondering. Is it REALLY a full 1/18 scale?? Is it really detailed well enough to use for display? Today we find out!!!

I got one of these and the past few years ive put it on display for Halloween with some little led lights placed inside. I also have the Playmobil Ecto 1 which has lights and sounds but its smaller than 1:18. Also i got good news for you, currently there is a new release of this Ecto 1 but its a clean version from the original movie with the stretcher included available at some EB Games/ GameStop stores. Its around $85 regular price. Ive been contemplating grabbing one. I will say they seem limited as i have only seen 1 on the shelves at 2 different locations so far.

Yeah I seen that new release the box is a bit different etc! Yeah this things decent and THATS the one I seen with the stretcher then!! I’ll have to look into that! Thanks for commenting buddy good to hear from you !
