Anybody can show an edited video, it takes a person with integrity to share both accomplishments and failures. We learn best for short comings and failures, and most of all it opens or eyes to other aspects of building. Job Well Done and Thank You. I learned a lot. But most of all I showed this to my young nephew that we all make mistakes but it’s how we handle them. Thank You Again. This is a Great Teaching Video.
Don't worry about the mistake. You learned from it and so did we. That is the important part. It also makes you human and if anyone says anything just block them from saying anything else about your videos. The best channels are the ones that share their mistakes with their audience!
You made a couple of mistakes, it happens. You found them you fixed them. Don't ever call yourself stupid, if your world is anything like mine there are probably far too many people waiting to call you names. You sir a maker, a brave one at that since you were willing to publicize your mistakes. Keep on keeping on!
No one is free from mistakes. I just felt stupid because i know better. And yeah... people on CZcams just love to attack. I don't bother with those comments. The good comments outweigh the bad. I just ignore the jerks.
Don’t be so hard on yourself, fyi I see other CZcamsrs all the time use the same method and never talk about it. I agree a solid support was the best option but woodworking and building is all about making mistakes and learning and improving from them! That’s the beauty especially with shop furniture and construction is you can scrap ideas or improve beyond what you though was capable
Don't worry Buddy... Shit Happens...be happy, just repair it if you could and if you can't start over, yes a little frustrating but at the end of the day, Shit still happens...Go with the flow Bro, all is good...you see you did a nice job in fixing it...Have a good one.
Knowing how CZcams can be very critical, it's sometimes scary to post your mistakes. I'm glad people will appreciate the mistake instead of just thinking I'm an idiot!
That was awesome. I make a lot of mistakes and want to scrap the whole idea but I continue like yourself and make it right. Thanks for sharing. Very humbling of you. I will subscribe.
Mistakes happen and we learn from them. You'll never do that again. And the fix was pretty painless. I have a friend that always says that to make mistakes you first have to be doing something. Nice save.
You really didn't make as much of a mistake as you think. other then the bottom rail should be one solid piece. kitchen cabinets are built like this. but we just don't have 200 lb person walking on then.
Nice repair and glad you noticed weaknesses however, what the hell were removal guys doing standing on your furniture? Not a very professional service you received there

Nice fix. Nobody's perfect. It's how you learn and move forward!
Agreed. Thanks for watching!

As a newbie who’s about to build my first miter saw station, this video was invaluable. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
I learn something from every mistake I make on every project. Thanks for sharing.
I make a lot of mistakes! Haha. Only way to learn anything.

Well done! Everyone makes mistakes especially in design.
Mistakes are the mother of learning.
Hey... Appreciate you sharing this video. LOTS of value in this and has actually helped me understand some of the dos and dont's of future projects.
Thank you for the kind comment.
This is awesome. I would have run into the same problem! Thank you for sharing.

Awesome comment. Thank you!
Those plywood beams certainly look like they will resolve the flexing issue. Great job!
Thank you. They feel very strong!
Nothing is stupid as long as you learn from it and show others cuz I am just starting and almost did the same thing
Much ablige, this was very helpful video.
Thank you for sharing this video.
Glad you enjoyed it. Warp factor 5... engage.
Thanks for sharing this. Very informative and will inspire others in their workbench or saw station designs.
there are no stupid mistakes only chances to learn and grow. Nice job.
Thank you! I'm trying!

We have all learned from our mistakes. keep up the good work :)
Thanks! I appreciate it. You can't learn if you don't mess up.
It’s takes a good man to admit his mistakes.
You've gained a new subscriber. Good video. I probably would have made the same mistake TBH.
Like your videos man. Keep it up
thank you!
I think you should have made a solid cross pieces on the back as well. You can see the back cross members sagging. Just notch out for your divider.
I may have to. I also have one more adjustable foot thingy I can put in the rear so the floor can support it. It seems to be holding ok though.
Great job!
did the beams in front but not the back. looks like it was floating on the back too?

It was definitely abused, but I still felt the design was poor. Still learning...

Moving, not removal.
muito bom!
Obrigado!
Was not ur fault. We don’t build are shop Stations to hold 200lbs plus.. it’s the movers fault for standing up there
Thanks. I'm still unhappy with my design. I finally try to over build, but I came up short this time.
