At the times of the first bands,there've been lots of discussions,about number 1 of the top 10. Shand or Bobbie !!!!!!Shand was 1,Bobbie 2.And...believe it or not,number 3 for Jim Cameron And so it went on with 4 Ian Powrie,5 Alasdair Downie,6 Jimmy Blair,7 The Wick Band,8 Willi Hannah,9George Mc Alpine and 10 for Adam Rennie. Other bands had to be excluded,cos there was more than 10 good bands,such as Lindsay Ross and Jack Forsite.Or...they came up later.A later top 10? Wish I could tell you!

I danced to his band in the Phillips hall in beauty in the early fifties those were the days
