Es hilf uns sehr. Dankeschön 🎉
Das freut uns, zu hören 😊
As I've been learning via this podcast, I also use Google Translate to test for accuracy, and there have been a few discrepancies here and there... How accurate is Google Translate in the translation of some of these phrases? I'm also fluent in Afrikaans (my home language), so that certainly helps, as they have the same sentence structure. I have also noticed a lot of similarities between the two languages when it comes to wording... If you can speak pure or high Afrikaans (like they do in the countryside) there are a lot of words that are the same.
Google translate doesn't always have entirely good accuracy. Often it has issues with certain nuances within the language as well as vocabulary. I would recommend DeepL as it's often considered the most accurate translation program, and it gives multiple interpretations for each translation.
Some phrases mentioned :
Was möchten sie?(formal)
Was möchtest du?(informal)
Ich nehme ein weißes Glas Wein bitte.
I'll have a white glass of wine please.
einen schönen Tag noch.
have a nice day.
ich habe Hunger
I'm hungry
( literal translation): I have hunger
Dankeschön ist sehr gut zu hören Aber the part of the grammatical not the best to understand🌹
