It's so beautilful, touching and heartwarming - and Dimash singing those lyrics made me so emotional.

You are my favourite reactor to Dimash you seem to experience every Dimash performance in the same way as me. You are a young woman and I am 75. I have , have, HAVE to listen to Dimash every day. Each day another song is my favourite but who can choose which is the best, as every performance is so very special. I travelled to Latvia to see him in concert, in March from U.K. so lucky to be able to do that just before lockdown in U.K. happened. Most wonderful concert, everything I hoped. Xxx

Я была на этом концерте и сидела за спиной у мамы Димаша.Концерт был великолепный,особенно приятным сюрпризом была эта песня ,которую певец исполнил на украинском языке.Был шквал оплодисментов зал гудел!Люди плакали и стоя приветствовали АРТИСТА!Это было незабываемо!!!

I think that Dimash knows exactly what and how to do in every song. Those who are only there for his range understand nothing about him. He always moves me to tears because of who he is.
I was blessed with an amazing mother, she was strict but kind & loving. I miss her so much ! In raising my own 9 children I did my best to emulate her. My children were/are my world ! Bless you all in that you can be the best in your own daily lives. Dimash is a real example of a loving family !

I have a bad, toxic mother who scarred me for life. So, please, anyone out there who has a wonderful mother, please cherish her and show your love in actions and words and protect her. I remember the first time listening to this, and it was with subtitles. The lyrics are so full of love for parents and one's home and with homesickness, too. My tears started flowing at the end of the first stanza, and when Dimash made the audience sing for his mother, I was sobbing uncontrollably. And you were also touched even without knowing the lyrics. What power this man has over our emotions just by the means of music!

Hello Sabina. It is impossible not to cry watching him sing this song. I cry every time I see it. I imagine the emotion of the mother. This letter is deeply beautiful. Dear Sabina, again and again it is wonderful to see your reactions, because it's like I'm looking into a mirror and I relive my feelings when I first watched this BEAUTIFUL song! I LOVE Dimash singing so simple, kind of "folk music" of any country. No need to be bombastic and showing all his skills - he is very convincing and genuine when it is "pure him" - one instrument, simple melody, enough. For Dimash. For most other artists it would be more difficult, but Dimash radiates emotion with his pure voice and personality - I fell in love with this song at once. (Only pity I can't understand and sing Ukrainian...) Much love to you!!

Dimash made a fantastic surprise for his mother and for the audience. He learned the song the night before the concert! I guess she knows the lyrics because she herself is a singer and in Soviet times we knew famous songs of the other Republics of Soviet Union. And the next point is that Ukrainian is close to Russian. I am sure they both speak Russian

Hello! DI's parents are always at his concerts. Dimash likes to make beautiful surprises to his audience and so it was in Kiev. He knew more or less the melody, but he learned the words the night before the concert to thank Ukraine for a beautiful and warm welcome. A truly beautiful and heartfelt performance. I've watched it at least a dozen times over the past months and I cry every time. I miss my Mum these past 10 years since she passed on and this song and the way Dimash sings it goes straight to my heart.

Dimash wanted to please the Ukrainians with a song in Ukrainian, and his mother ... and so he learned the text of this Folksong the night before! The pianiste didnt know it at all, they just repeated it once.. Its Dimash... :-)
He goes into such an opening and devotion that everyone immediately feels directly touched, exactly this intimate feeling can arise, although there are thousands of people also in the hall - or you yourself sit at home in front of your laptop. This is, apart from his incredible vocal and artistic abilities, exactly this great gift that he means to us. Love from Germany

Girl, you have a beautiful soul. Though your eyes were wet, you held it in until Dimash's Mom released her own tears, and then yours overwhelmed you as well.... I can only imagine what it must be like to witness in your child, all of your hopes fulfilled. In every way, her son would seem to have far surpassed even the most optimistic of expectations. Talent, skill, dedication, looks, personality, priorities.....each is a facet of Dimash. It must give his mother an intense pride that Dimash's diamond, cut to perfection, dazzles the eye......and the ear!

When Dimash is *not* astounding us with drama, fireworks, and explosions, but only singing a simple song with very little dynamic variation, he still manages to amaze, doesn't he? His excellent vocal control, pure tone, intensity, sincerity and stage presence are enough.
Certainly his mother thinks so! But she's not alone in her appreciation.
