This has to go viral. I honestly just fell in love with the Concord over the Bred & I used to be embarrassed to say I like the Concords 3rd Out of the Breds & Space Jams. But this video showed me a new love for the sneaker & this year’s release & others. I know how hard it is to produce a video like this so big ups. 🙌🏾. Great great video. I'll be honest here. I like the 2018 Concords because that higher patent leather balances the shoe in my opinion. And they literally made everything the same from the original

This was such a great review of the Air Jordan 11 Concord. I was lucky enough to have had 3 out of the 7 Concords u have in your review. I had the OG’s from 95 with the 23 on the back I was 17 years old a senior in high school watched every televised Bulls game that season and all the playoff/finals games from that 95/96 season. In my opinion that’s the best Air Jordan XI Concord the originals from 95. I no longer have that pair as I wore them proudly made them last a long time but eventually trashed them. The other 2 that I was lucky enough to own out of the 7 u have in your review was the 2011 pair and of course the 2018 pair which I bought 2 pairs of. I still have my 2011 pair Dead stock never even tried them on they still fresh in the box and my 2 pair from this year 2018 will remain the same until this summer when I’ll probably wear one of the 2018 pairs that I got that’s why I bought 2 pairs. This is my favorite sneaker of all time. I feel so lucky because they just released my favorite sneaker of all time and in about 2 months they will be releasing my 2nd favorite sneaker of all time the Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared in February during all star weekend. But again great review and I’m looking forward to your review of the Air Jordan VI Black Infrareds in a couple months.

Man, major props on this video! I wish Nike would do some videos like this from the vaults. I read somewhere that Jordan's PEs were stitched 45 on the back.
Not sure exactly which ones were or if it was specifically for him but all the retail pairs were screen printed on.
I think they did a fantastic job. People need to stop complaining about the low patent leather to me that version looks stupid, the higher cut looks so much nicer and it's true to og form (well almost) I have no complaints about this version of the Concord air Jordan 11. As a matter of fact it's definitely in my top 5 sneakers of the year. Now it's time to double up on these

Great comparison. Another thing I noticed is the OG is the bottom sole is wider at the toes than the newer ones. It is noticeable when looking down at it from a birds eye perspective. The shoe kinda looks bigger and wider which I like.
I think my favorite has to be the OG simply because the rubber has a nice yellow tint to it, not like the sample pair which is really really yellow. I appreciate the newer pair for this year too. It’s the first time I get my hands on a concord since getting a fake in 2012 🙏🏻

btw, a fun fact: the pair Jordan wore in the original commercial did not have the patent leather cut that high compare to the public released originals.

They will be releasing the OG pair with the 23 on the back in a couple of years I’m sure. That the genius of the marketing at Nike/Jordan Brand they will release the same shoe in about 2-3 years but with 23 on the back and they’ll sell out just like the 2018 pair did

You know I think they did a phenomenal job with the 2018’s. You know my only gripe is the clear blue sole. It would look better with a little cloudiness added to those clear blue soles. Sorry about griping about the soles. Keep up the good work Marvin and God bless brother.
the icey blue bottom on the 2018 ones makes the shoe tf I like the icey blue bottom they been putting on them it makes the shoe look hot
Not sure if you noticed this, but something I noticed comparing my 2018 to my og black/red is that they finally got the ankle padding right. The og and the 2018 has somewhat of a fluffy, airy padding, while every 11 I’ve had from the cdp to win like 82 has the same dense padding as any other jb retro. However, I will say that the tongue padding on the retro is much greater than the 2018 retro.
dp122492 I think you have it flipped. The OG and 2018 has a foam layer in between the mesh. The 2000, DMP, 2011 (especially) and the low do not.
I have 2011 pair and ive used dem but the sole is super brown and yellow they look just like 2000 pair

2018 version of the Air Jordan 11 Concord looks good, i just wish the patent leather was a little thicker like the OG version.
The 2000's for me are by far the cleanest that yellow sole makes it stand out not saying that the 18 isn't either 👌🏼

Not only that, it’s a performance aspect where you need that high patent for lateral support.

Try using rubbing alcohol to restore some of the shine on the patent leather. Dope video. Definitely a classic silhouette for years to come.
Nice comparison..just ordered the concords, I only paid fifty bucks over the retail price. Stores are raffling off tickets and I know I wasn’t gonna win, I just wanted to make sure I had a pair this holiday season.
The 2018 is definitely a great representation of the original. I really really wish Jordan Brand can just give us 1 release with thicker patent leather as it made a huge difference from a performance aspect but I don't think we will EVER get that considering the cost of materials. The 2014 low doesn't get enough credit too. It is the only 11 that links to the 96 Championship parade which is where I fell in love with it (along with Derek Anderson rocking them as a member of the Spurs). Obviously the OG is where it's at for me but I'll definitely get my hands on a pair of the 2018 since all of my mids are trashed from playing in them.
Maybe its just me but 2018s look even better than the OGs. This video is just... Amazing.
