My thoughts on this: Interesting how the quality and value for money corresponded with the receptionists. Love hotel - out of the question. Tribe - great lady and great place. Sun Sky - very average, unfortunately overpriced for what's on offer. Thanks for showing Daz.

I thought Butlin's disappeared decades ago. Happy to see it came back to life in Pattaya.

Funny thing is, i have been at exactly these 2 hotels a few weeks ago. (tribe and sun sky) i liked the pool at the tribe hotel but the rooms unfortunatly have been pretty noisy, to a point that i switched hotels. and i checked right in the other hotel, sun sky. That one was really nice, super quiet and clean rooms, i really enjoyed my stay there.
I really liked the first hotel 🏨 but one of the guys in the comment section said it was too noisy. The second hotel 🏨 he said was much quieter and that would be the one he prefer between the two. Yes, these videos are completely useful to us new ex-pats traveling to Thailand 🇹🇭 for the first time and that needs their money to go a long way. I absolutely hate 😤showers that are right by the toilet 🤮with no separation.
I always stayed in Pattaya. Now I think it is better to stay in quiet Jomtien and get the baht bus to boom boom as needed. Cheaper and more calm.
The second hotel was the nicest of the three and the woman employee was very pleasant.
Very useful videos. When I show up anywhere I don't have reservations. So knowing some names is very handy. I liked the first one because of the Dining options. I always like to be able to eat without having to go out.
That room at Sun Sky Hotel was the room I stayed at when I was in Jomtiem. The Wambat and Kiwi Restaurant at the end of SOI on beach road has good food and prices.

Pattaya has gone expensive now, cost me double in ladies and accomodation and food this Xmas just gone compared to pre covid, will try the Philippines and Cambodia this year it's a lot cheaper than pattaya my mate said who's there now
never stayed in Jomtien before and been really wanting to try it, gotta say the lady at the Tribe hotel was so nice that i will be booking my next stay there. shared this vlog to facebook, hope you will get a few subscribers as a result
Great places to stay
Thanks Daz, I would be happy to stay at either of these places. The pot plants on the pool deck of the Tribe have seen better days though 🙂. It seems if you are willing to stay at Jomtien, your money goes a lot further.

The last one was my favorite but I would stay at any of the three.
Prices very good. In Europe it's 4 times as much for a smaller room and cold weather.
Receptionist in Tribe was Filipino I think, hence the great english.

The place next to Sun Sky Resort use to be Richman Poorman and was a great place to eat and stay until they sold it. Had many friends stay there and where I use to have my morning coffee
I thought the Sun sky resort was expensive if it came with breakfast then it better value

I've watched several of your hotel videos. Would be very appreciated if you could inform us of the girl / joiner fees. As each hotel has different policies. That would help set you apart from other YT channels.
Previously stayed at SunSky as nice clean modern hotel near the beach n night market n used to be good restaurants in same soi too. Think the Tribe hotel looks better value n some nice older hotels resorts in the sois there too that need exploring perhaps??
These videos are very useful. When looking f it r motels, these never show up.

Helllo Dan i want to thankyou for Varied Hotels reviews One Item in a Hotel that is important to Review besides Quality of Air Con is How well the Showers work if they give a decent amount of water pressure & hot water as a lot of times in these bargain hotels not Great One thing that is needed in Hot Climate Like Thailand is to have a decent Shower 🚿 🚿

When I checked out sun sky a few years back the beds where to hard so I opted out from staying there. I wonder if they since changed them.

for 8400 a week i have see much better at some of the larger hotels in Jomtien and Pattaya like Cozi Wongmat.. just saying...

@@petergmcdougall97 i am just saying if you are going to show options for those that do not know pattaya well ( i have been coming for over 20 years ) stick with properties that show real value for the dollar and there are many nice notels for $30 dollar range even in Wongamat beach and central Pattaya and of course Jomtien and Na Jomtien... I would not be watching Daz channel if i did not like most of the content but if the content on one of the videos is not showing the best options i feel i can contribute my long time experience...

Lots of steps. The railing around the rooftop pool looked Thai height. Would have to be min 1.1m in UK.

try find some room with matrasse from memory foam , soo many people need,,,,, this thai hotels rooms have matrasser hard as fuchs , thats why i dont go there,,, its like sleep on rock .... not soft bed but find some wnere have memory foam matrasser==
