I don't know if Andrew ever reads these comments but I needed to write this after seeing him and listening to him. I am an 80 year old women who has struggled with my mental health all my life. I feel like I have claimed the wrong sexuality all my life which I feel has contributed to these mental health issues. Since discovering Andrew in the acting world and now knowing he supports this cause of HUMEN, seeing him share his joys and struggles helps all genders. Setting this example makes me admire him even more. Thank you to all the men on this site for being so open. It can help more than any antidepressant can. Bless you Andrew. You are a true treasure, especially to me. I've never connected to a person, that I have never met, in my life. Thank You.

Andrew Scott is so very special. How I wish I knew him in person! It’s so painful to see him hurting; I hope he knows there are so many who love him.

I have always loved Andrew Scott, and have heard his analogy about emotions and weather before.
It is incredibly reassuring to change your mindset and realize that the "storm" will pass.

I really appreciate Humen being a mental health platform for men (it is much needed) but I have to say as a young woman in my 20s this video really helped me out too. I watched it when it first came out and I won't forget it as it really moved me. I was particularly moved by River Hawkins- what he was saying resonated with me at that time when I first watched this.
Andrew's words of wisdom also meant a lot- I actually have what he said written on my wall, his comparison of emotions to the weather- the storm will pass, and finding out who you are and trying not to be afraid of it.
This entire video really gets to me every time. Fortunately I am not in the place I was a year ago but I won't forget how much this video means to me. I hope everyone who featured in this video is now doing better than they were then.

Thank you so much for this video. I have recently started therapy after years of depression and anxiety. I absolutely understand being in the place where you dont want to live but cant bring yourself to kill yourself.
Seeing these stories gives me hope that I can move on and find the reasons to live rather than just exist

I relate to it too. I feel no enthusiasm for my life anymore, haven’t for about a year now. Trying not to panic but the whole idea of having another twenty odd years to live (like this) just terrifies me. As Britney once famously said: ‘my loneliness is killing me.’
