  • A consortium of news outlets from around the world, including FRONTLINE, has been investigating the use of the spyware called Pegasus and the Israeli company, NSO Group, that sells it to foreign governments. Pegasus has been used by NSO clients to spy on journalists, human rights activists and others. One target: Jamal Khashoggi’s fiancée.
    Subscribe on CZcams: bit.ly/1BycsJW
The investigation is coordinated by the journalism nonprofit Forbidden Stories, with technical support from Amnesty International’s Security Lab.
Washington Post reporter Dana Priest is one of more than 80 journalists from 17 media organizations working on the collaboration, known as “The Pegasus Project.” She traveled to Turkey to verify if Pegasus had been used to surveil Khashoggi’s fiancée, Hatice Cengiz. NSO Group says its spyware is used to fight terrorism and serious crimes, and that its technology was not associated in any way with Khashoggi’s murder.
This reporting is part of an upcoming FRONTLINE documentary produced with Forbidden Stories to air on PBS.

Snowden specifically said the NSA made Stuxnet look like it came from Israel. Just so we're all on the same page about what exactly Snowden "warned" about.
Do I think the NSA was behind this? No. Do I think the Saudi military, which is literally trained on US military bases because they make the Military Industrial Complex go round with all their money, learned a thing or two about how to misdirect the origins of 8 year old spyware? Yes.
Pegasus was first discovered in 2013 by Citizen Lab, and was first sold by American Cyber Security firm, The Hacking Team. It's outdated, well researched and known, heavy-handed, doesn't hide in kernal, doesn't self-destruct, and leaves traces. It's an exploit of long-standing zero days in iOS, which Apple intentionally places because they enthusiastically cooperate with law enforcement & governments - including helping the CCP spy on Hong Kongers that overwhelmingly use iPhones.

@Unknown User since when is fair, unbiased reporting “spreading a liberal agenda”
I avoid ANY news outlet that uses inflammatory language (left or right leaning) and I do not see PBS do that. The litmus test to to read/listen/watch and pay attention to your emotions. If you get super angry, etc then most likely the stories are given in a way to make you feel angry. Or if I’m watching a news broadcast that demeans someone (whether I like them or not) I turn it off.
So, really, if YOU think PBS is liberal, more likely you just don’t want to hear the truth and would rather listen to someone claim Obama is a Muslim and Joe Biden has dementia but also runs the world’s largest crime syndicate that is so powerful even Putin is afraid.

Frontline is not PBS, Frontline is a different team compared to the PBS Newshour (biased politics) team that is on the channel daily. The reason it is not in Texas anymore, is because they are biased daily on the newshour portion of PBS. This is a solid fact, well documented by dozens and dozens of youtubers who report weekly on adult topics and truth that the hollywood NYC media groups cover up for their corporate advertising partners, including this one who gets donations from nonprofits from billionaires, for a reason... its a veil for their politics.

I got pulled over while test driving a vehicle earlier this year. I was detained for 3 hours while local law enforcement tossed the vehicle. During this time I was separated from my belongings immediately before being “detained” in the cruiser. This included my iPhone. Ever since that day in march my phone was never the same. With the most recent update for iOS it was brought to my attention that Pegasus is in fact on my phone and there is a page in the app that has a current campaign. I can’t dig much further into the perimeters of the app. BC I don’t have an account. So if I don’t have an account how is there a campaign running on my phone? And is it possible that when I saw these cops take my phone to the back of the Sargent’s vehicle that’s when it was loaded into my iOS? I haven’t deleted the app bc I want to preserve any evidence that may still be there. For instance if I can pinpoint the exact time / date the app appeared. And that time is while I’m documented NOT in possession of the phone then I’m hoping I’ll have a leg to stand on for some answers

The moment he went back to Turkey to get married everyone knew what's about to happen to him! They used the oldest trick in the book to get him where they want him and he fell for it!

THIS IS INCREDIBLE. Allow this to be a prime example of WHY reporters are so fucking invaluable. Undermining legitimate reporters as “fake news” allows for evil to prevail. How the fuck would we come to discover this if it weren’t for this kind of incredible, relentless reporting? I would never want to live in a world without reporters, without those who expose corruption, evil, etc…
