- Finally, after almost a year in production (including the old version), La Primavera is finished!! I didn't want to follow the original meme format because I didn't know how to spin it for this story- but I eventually decided to show more of the cat's journey to find a home. Angel, Willow, and Nekro travel through different biomes and territories searching for a place to settle, all while ducking and dodging the Dragon King. Wherever he goes, they have to move from. Hopefully they'll find a home eventually.
This gave me a lot of opportunities to experiment, especially to play with backgrounds and different forms of water, I hope you enjoy!
Also I've been gone for a while and haven't been able to be excited about subscriber milestones but OH MY GOSH???? WE'VE HIT 14 THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS!!!! 14 THOUSAND??? INSANE!!! I'M GRATEFUL!!! THERE'S SO MANY OF YOU THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE I WON'T LET YOU DOWN!!!!
This was inspired by a lotta La Primavera's, but it was mainly inspired by crispyyflake's version! It's what drew me away from the traditional meme format, and encouraged me to show more of the journey! I may not have ever finished this if I hadn't seen their version, it's awesome! :DD

Okay! So to sum it up, I really, really enjoyed this :)
WOW! SO WHERE TO BEGIN-
One thing I love about your animation style Raye, is this sort of seamless transition, where all parts of the animation flow into one another, making everything feel so natural. For example at 0:13 when Angel leaps onto the rock, flys down through the clouds, lands on the ground, runs through the meadow (seeing a dragon disappear beyond the clouds with a look of horror on his face), Nekro and Willow then appear behind him and Angel smiles and bounds off screen; ALL OF THIS IN WHAT APEARS TO BE ONE SINGLE SHOT!! Honestly I have no idea how you animate this so naturally and it’s a technique I’ve noticed in most of your animations. I don’t know how you manage to do it so well, but it’s incredibly smooth and I absolutely love the effect it has! :D
Another thing I just love about this is the subtle character interactions that portray the trio’s personalities and relationships with one another. For example at 0:31 where Willow and Angel exchange a happy glance before playfully bounding off together, 0:36 where Angel glances back at the others before watching the petals fly past with an expression of childlike wonder and excitement on his face, 0:38 where Willow stands out in the rain, sacrificing her own comfort for everyone else’s, and 0:23 with Nekro taking watch while the other two sleep (instead they climb up onto the rock and join him through 🥺).
Everything about this was absolutely perfect, from the smooth animation, the character’s expressions, the different perspective shots, and the immense amount of amazing backgrounds (my favourites being the beach with those incredibly smooth waves at 0:30 and the rainy forest at 0:38).
Honestly I thoroughly enjoyed this whole thing, it was such a treat to have this glimpse into the world of your OCs and get a feel of what it’s like for the trio constantly on the run from the dragons. Thank you so much for sharing this animation with us Raye, I absolutely loved it.
Also I must mention that beginning bit where everyone is walking together and when Angel notices something and excitedly goes to investigate before running back with a huge boar chasing him! That is so in character of Angel and I love everything about it! XD

Gosh, the effort you put into your animations is always such a delight to see. Love the use of perspective warping in this one, creating a bit of that lovely camera lens effect! Always impressed with the consistency of the patterns on the characters even while stretching/squashing. The colors and backgrounds are also lovely; they make for such a friendly vibe! Amazing work.

Firstly, that walk cycle was golden 😤👌 The movement of each leg and fur particle is perfect and I love all the little details!
Angel running off and then coming back of scariness was so CUTE! I love the little stumbling pose and the dragon king looked FANTASIC! So detailed! I love how they all crash into each other, it was really smooth and cute! It looked so natural! Well done! 🥇
Then they all turn towards the camera EEK I loved that part! Angel jumping was so smooth oh gosh. Angel bouncing around the rocks was so fluid and amazingly done, that’s my fav scene yet! Not to mention the background looks so COOL! I love how happy he looks! The transition of scenes and the flip WAS SO GOOD OH MY GOSH IM SCREAMING! ThT was flawless, loved the pose! The pose and scene changes are unreal! I love the scene with them all on the rocks in the lake, Willow looks so cute SCREE! POOR NEKRO I LOVD HIM❤ Willow at the beach?!? NEW FAVORITE SCENE! The movement was lively as hack and Angel joining was really wholesome! Then Nekro does the flip? THE WHOLE SCREEN JUST SHIFTED THAT WAS SO COOL AND SMOOTH OMG
AWW ANGEL AND WILLOW LOOK SO PRECIOUS ❤🥺🥺🥺 Ack Angel and the petals was such a pretty mesmerizing scene! The petals looked really cool and real! It only gets better! New fav scene! Them all under the leaf in the rain was so SWEET, the rain droplets looks so real and the bunnies and fox were so cute! The emotion in this scene is crazy good! THEM ALL FLYING SO GOOD, THE FLIP WAS SPOT ON ANGEL LOOKED SO COOL AND THE ANIMATION WAS THE SMOOTHES YET
Hehe the hill scene! I love the tree! And the king pops up and they all scurry out was so funny! The running was once again, smoothest thing possible! I love your art
