To pass my CCNA exam, I used some resourcer that I will be sharing in this video. CCNA is one of the most reputable certificates in the field. Having the CCNA will help you to get hired.
In this video I will be answering the following questions:
What is CCNA?
CCNA Prerequisites
How many exams you need to pass CCNA?
How much does CCNA cost?
How long is the exam, and how many questions?
What is the format of the questions?
What is the passing score?
Does the CCNA expires?
Is the CCNA worth it?
What is the average CCNA salary?
How difficult is the CCNA exam?
How to register for the CCNA exam?
What resources do you need?
I hope this video will help you to pass your CCNA. If you have any questions about the CCNA, please don't hesitate to leave a comment.
As I promised in the video, down below you will find all the great resources I mentioned in the video. Good luck with your exam, and don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss the upcoming videos :)

I passed the exam few hours ago, and this video was the last thing to watch last night before taking the exam 😎. Thank you for this motivation.
Congratulations. I’m starting my ccna currently. But I wanted to ask what did you do for the lab? Did you build a physical or virtual lab?
@@erock9883 hope you success on your journey. Actually I was following Jeremy's IT Lab CZcams video course, and I could say 80% of my preparation was that course which is provided by virtual labs(The other 20% came from OCG and exam dumps), so honestly I didn't build many labs on my own, and I think you don't need building your own for the CCNA, there is a plenty online courses out there with pre-build packet tracer labs for CCNA.
What are the process to get CCNA Cert?
Hey that's AWESOME! I plan to do the same soon. Glad its working for ya
@@kawanosman6748 Man that really made my day. Thank you so much for that. Did the CCNA land you a job?
Thank you Essa for the insight and the courage to face CCNA 200-301 exams, I'm a beginner and absolutely new to networking but I am bold enough to face it now after listening to this video.
no adds no sponsorship..... this video is perfect and very helpful
Wow and actual genuine video for helping people out. Thank you!
Thank you for the lo-fi music and speaking slowly and clearly. I was able to follow along and not be drowned out by the common youtuber hype.
Thank you for the video. I'm currently studying for my CCNA exam, I plan on passing it on the first try too⭐
You got this, I'm sure you will pass. Good luck, and let me know if you need any help
Hi bro did you take your ccna exam?
@@EssaCyberCafe hello I am planning to do certification
Hey did you taken CCNA exam?
I’m honestly tired of working manual labor jobs. This is the perfect motivation to follow my dream and get in the tech field
I wish you all the best! I hope your efforts give you the results you deserve!
Same i was injured at work. Building houses and remodeling. Im done with the labor.
How are you doing now? Any progress?
I injured my spine back in December 2019 working in a factory. Then the pandemic came. After that I caught a work from home sales job on the phone. That's coming close very soon. Just know that all these IT start up's are crap and you'll work like a dog no matter which path you decide go down. The money in IT generally more than unskilled manual labor depending on your location. It could change your life. Just know that if you don't produce or if your bosses don't like you/the way you work, they'll terminate you. Currently the remote positions are disappearing, most people are now either hybrid or back in office 100%. That's not to say that you cannot find remote, it just takes a little longer and you have to know which position you're looking for and where to find it. I'd encourage you to get out of manual labor asap, a lot of us are forced out due to injury and will live the rest of our lives in chronic pain.
Thank you for this video it was extremely informative and instilled more confidence in me about going for my CCNA certification! Committing to three hours per day was also great advice, thanks for all of your help!

any update?
I don't have a date set for my test yet. So little background with me. My neighbor told me about the ccna years ago and I watched videos a couple times trying to learn it but felt like I couldn't do it or I'd get bored. I told my brother about the ccna and he went and took a college course and now has his ccna. He is living my dream! There has been a fire lit in me and all I can think about is getting my ccna. I spend about 3 to 5 hours a day hard studying then the rest is spent listening to other people just talk about ccna. I listen to it in the car and everything. I hope I can do it this time
Thank you!! Getting ready for test!
I just scheduled my CCNA test for Cisco Live in 2023! I went in 2022 for the first time and hadn’t realized I needed to schedule it before I left, so I’m a year behind when I should’ve taken it. Great video, lots of helpful info, now to dig into the material!

broo is being a good broo.💜
Thank you for sharing... Very very helpful. I just finished Cisco Network Academy. I have been using Packet Tracer primarily but I like GNS3's features better. I need some help setting up GNS3 on my new PC to do some more labs before I sit for the exam.
this video helped me a lot; i was considering going for a cybersecurity online bootcamp that teaches you about the field and different operating systems (not a cert-prep program it says) but the extended course is offered at a college-tuition price which did not seem worth it at all after taking the short intro course. after hours of me leaving class and having to fill in the gaps with resources online, i definitely will not be sticking with the bootcamp. great video !
WOW great 👍 Sir, now I feel relieved as if I have already passed the exam, thank you very much Sir. You are the best 👍
Thank you so much Ndoh for your kind words, I truly appreciate you taking the time to comment.

Congratulations!
Great video! Thanks!
Thank you, Essa, for this great and well-organized set of information, however I had a bit of trouble following you because of the background music.
Thank u for that video. I hope that I will also able to pass exam soon.
Thanks for the encouragement and information ;)
Came here for motivation. I've been studying for the CCNA since August. It has taken a little longer because Ive been making sure I fully understood the topic before moving on. I am using Neil's course on udemy, my college course that uses cisco netacad, which gives a voucher for the CCNA. Alot of labbing in college and PT, I read volume 1 of todd lammles book. But started using Neil's course more. I want the certification so bad. Im already over halfway through my studies. I kind of want to speed up my studies due to the fact, I'll have a month off from college, and for my job, in the tech industry. Im off christmas break. So Im not sure if I want to start from the top and follow the 6 week method, or continue going. Either way at some point. I will be starting over to review. It's a video course . So it wont be bad. Plus using Boson test sim.
Have you written the exam yet
Goodluck man I'm studying for mine this summer to write it this September
@@kash8931 Ive passed it already
@@trayjobe6995 oh really nice one man
Now I'm super motivated how was it 😁
@@kash8931 If you can purchase Boson do it! Boson definitely made the CCNA seem easy!

Thanks brother for this information and it’s very helpful video
A big Major Thank you. well explained.
Great advice!
Such a great mind! Thank you so much am on Neil Andersons Udemy videos! Am more encouraged to soldier on into cybersecurity! Thumbs up man
Essa, you dog you did it again! Making it so easy for me to understand the process and know what i'm getting myself in. I don't even feel like i have to study much for the test now xD
I appreciate you Jon, thank you for taking the time to comment brother!
Great video, informative. 👍💯
Hi, it's honestly impressive how you passed it with a great score and only having 6 weeks. I feel embarassed haha, I just completed the syllabus sometime ago, and it almost took me 7 months or so :( love your dedication and motivation. and I thought 3 hours were less because i was going for that too.. :P
Anyways, Idk when but i'm planning to schedule it soon just after i have enough practice and revision :). I'll update when schedule it and pass hopefully!
It was really helpful ☺️ thank you so much for motivation
Great video!
Well maybe you are way smarter than me. Thank you this is encouraging and gives me hope.
Great video and very realistic with positive outlook. I am starting to study today with hopes of passing by Mid September. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Josh, as long as you have a plan in mind, you good to go.
If I got it, and everyone else did, you definitely can.
Let me know if I can help you with anything
Thanks for your encouragement
Wonderful summary
Most informative video, because I am a visual learner myself
Very informative video
New sub keep it up
Thank you for this video. This was very motivational for me. Just passed my Security+ & I’m jumping straight into CCNA!
Congratulations on passing your Security+. You got this, don't let anything slowing you down.
@Eze did you take CCNA? which one was harder? CCNA or Security+?
because I just passed CCNA and I am planning to take Security+
@@kawanosman6748 CCNA was much harder to me. I passed but barely. Security+ is much easier
@@Eze_Cloud have you passed CCNA exam ??
You are a legend
encouraging video. thank you.
I got my aCCNA way back in the day the same way as you... I just bought a ton of books I bought a CD that just asked questions and I would pause the CD and try to answer them that's about $10 and the rest I just studied on my own every possible moment no TV no games just almost 100% of my free time was on my CCNA.
Have you use DUMPS...?
Super
Thanks sir! I love it
I got my exam scheduled in two weeks, I'm extremely nervous and just searching as much info and help i can get to understand what I'm going into, i do know what I'm doing in networking, but there's always that small doubt and fear we all get before and exam. I'll update after the exam, thanks for this video, it's really helpful
How’d it go?
Hello
Have you passed your CCNA exam ..
I would just like to say that this video is definitely very encouraging for people just entering this industry. However, there is one important truth that getting the certification will definitely get you in the door for the interviews, but understanding the basics inside out, is the most important thing as it is with learning anything new, since that is what is gauged in interviews.
Personally speaking i would suggest only two resources, wendell odoms books and boson exsim, in my opinion are the only two resources required.
Really good job with the video though. Cheers!
Hey, I got a question for you man. I passed my CCNA, I have been applying for jobs for around 2 months but nobody got me for an interview. I also have a degree in digital systems. May you please guide me where I should apply for jobs? Thank you in advance.
@@darkreed3486 any update?
@@darkmagician1710 Still nothing, I feel like this certificate is useless if you do not already have experience.
@@darkreed3486 do you have some projects in your portfolio
@@lastraven7205 related to network engineering no, related to software engineering yes.
Great video bro 👍
