Hey Gabe "Desert Rose" is a Sting song. So this is a cover by her. Sting did not sing the Arabic verses it was done by someone else. She is doing both.

Pretty sure that CBC performance of ‘Closed Door’ is from no later than June 2017. She was 16.
Cover of Sting’s ‘Desert Rose’ was earlier this year.
She’s said she’s writing for an album this summer. I hope she finishes her university degree. And I’m expecting an album very late this year, or early next year, and a tour starting in May.

People seem to be quite divided on her. I like dramatic theatrical voices, not continually breathy, “baby” voices. But I know that’s not everyone’s taste. I’m curious if the fan base picks up with an album release. If not, at least it’ll be easier to get a ticket to one of her concerts. 🙂
