❤ love😍 if you do plan to camp again… you should try putting your veggies and seafood/meats on screwers and grill. Just make sure to soak wooden screwers in water before putting veggies and cubed meat on to prevent it from burning.
Our dog is our most perfect space heater when we camp places where she’s allowed to attend!
I think the reason your car was so packed for one night was because your camping stuff isnt camping stuff. Like camping chairs and cutlery and cups are all much more space saving items. If your going to camp more I would definitely invest. Like sleeping bags that roll up smaller. I mean it definitely won't look cute cause real camping stuff doesnt. But more practical

Make sure you have warm, wool socks, that’s half the battle to staying warm and takes up less room than a heated blanket. Also Columbia has a line of Omni-heat clothing, get yourself a pullover. A heated blanket is one of the best things ever!! Highly recommend lol! I’m from the Midwest so when you said how chilly it would be at night and then I saw only one blanket each I got scared for y’all lol! Layer layer layer yourself and blankets & a heated blanket too will make a big difference!

Eeeep! Yes the winter is pretty much the best time to camp in Florida before the humidity & heat starts up again 🤭☀️

Another way to grill corn is to remove the silk & wrap the cob back up in the leaves & tie. Soak in water before grilling, the corn will stay nice & moist.

Girl when you go camping: before you go, wash your cast iron with soap and water and wipe it dry and slather it in butter and leave it in the camp fire for a couple hours before you cook on it, SEAL IN THAT SMOKEY FLAVOR!! So when you bring it home you have that Smokey flavor in everything you cook at home. Soooo gooood!

My family did tent camping a lot when we were kids. Instead of blankets my parents had two giant bulky sleeping bags that they zipped together to make one big sleeping bag for both of them. Might be worth looking into. Camping is so much fun!

Omgsh I can’t believe you got in that water LOL! We went to wekiwa and it was summer and probably a 78-83 degree day but cloudy and a little breezy & I could barely handle the water there 😂😂 you are brave lol! It’s so beautiful there ⛲️🤍🌈

Ps hot water bottles are also good for camping. Just heat/boil water on fire/stove. Especially if there is no electric hook-up.
