It makes me so unhappy when people think graffiti isn't art, and some people call the police just cause they " assumed " that its
illegal everywhere, I mean. Bruh, what's wrong with some decoration?
But a lot of graffiti is vandalism, and you shouldn't just call the police straight up, but ask if they're allowed to do that and if they have a permit or whatever. Graffiti is a form of art, but can very easily become vandalism

Jeff!! YT yeah there’s art, like doke’s work, and then there’s tags, which yes, they have a more extensive meaning than just vandalism, but does not make the place look nice. I’d be ok with tags if they were, for example, behind a bush or under a bridge or something and also not on top of graffiti art, just so they were out of sight and don’t ruin the look of the place.

This interaction with police had good and bad things. It's good that police feel accountable or like they should be tranquilizing and educating the people of that place. It's bad that they cannot quickly check if it's a legal wall or not and so are forced to "show work" to those that called them. Literally the only thing the government had to do was to put a page online with a google maps that would fetch a file with the legal walls and show them on the map along with the location of the user.
