Soweto Gospel Choir - Remembering Portia Skosana

I miss you, Portia. I've been thinking about you every day and can feel your spirit close to me. Our lives will never be the same again. I wished I could teleport to South Africa to attend your memorial service today, and funeral on Saturday (trust me I tried to make it happen...). It pains me not to be there, but I will be there in spirit. I was digging through old footage and found a bunch of random “behind the scenes” clips and interviews in the archives - decided to put them together. Uncut, unedited, in the original form-nothing fancy from my end. Clips are in chronological order starting in 2012 until just this past October 2018 in California. Just hearing your voice again brings a smile to my face; seeing these epitomizes exactly who Portia was: gregarious, extroverted, unfiltered with such a sharp sense of humour but yet so present and in the moment. There is no one else like you, incomparable. And, that laugh! You've been nothing but kind. Love, your Elo.
