I loved playing this for the crash physics as it looked so realistic at the time. As this, drirv3r, cel damage, hit &run Simpsons and burnout 2 was my childhood favourite games.

Yes! This is just an amazing game. I started playing rally with this game, well, also RBR.
Genuinely one of the best all cars videos for one of these games, if not the best. Since you actually show how the cars look/sound in-game rather than just showing the menu lol
It turned out really well, I also didn't like it when they just show the menu 😅
that Ui aged like fine wine, can't say the same about interfaces and menus of similar age !
Remember this, spent a lot of time in CMR3 back in the days!! :D

I never played at Colin McRae Rally 3, I Have the first and the second on my PS 1. And I have the 2005 edition on my Xbox Original. Very nice video 👍
This is not a bad game, although the physics in it is not very good, but CMR4 is cool
I started on PC my first rally game was Mobil1 British Rally Championship, aka Rally Championship 2000, then i played CMR04 on PS2 and after that cmr3 on pc

My childhood game, I played it today to refresh memories
I used to play it when I was in school, it's a great game. Only the physics is not very good, although in the 4th part everything is fine
Well playing on keyboard is hard but I remember playing on controller with my dad on split screen and it was easier

Oh i miss this game.
If i recall there are 3 other, cheat only vehicles, and they have this cartony style. The baja buggy, that has a really ta suspension and wobbles a bit, a jet fighter, that barely turned but glided a bit on jumps, and an hovercraft, that was nice for cool drifts since had barely any contact with the ground, but was hard to break.

Is Ford Focus RS WRC 01 car that François Delacour drove in 2001?
I think yes
Correct. That particular Ford was drove by Francois Delecour in Rally Deutschland 2001 when that rally was a candidate rally to WRC calendar. Francois also had number 2 on that rally. Even in beta version of CMR3 that Ford had a Eibach Springs sticker (The main sponsor of Rally Deutschland form 2000 to 2003) up to start number but he was cut probably due to the license problems.
