I was a bit disappointed. I kept hearing about how disturbing the campaign was and i just didn't find it that bad. The only part that actually gave me chills was when you had to run and hide from that soldier in the house as a little girl. Never thought i feel so powerless in a cod game😅
good but certainly optimizable. I've been going for a Clean House wr and I have a route figured out that is definitely possible to get sub 3 min with. I did this by shooting the woman going for tea through the door not counting it as a civilian kill and then nading the room to the left skipping it entirely. If you want to see this in action go check out the 2:59 clean house wr. Also in embedded, you can grab a .357 pistol at the back end of the tunnel while the dialog is happening in the beginning. You can shoot it once exiting the tunnel and it will cancel the 2nd dialog with Farah's uncle and the enemies funnel through the door allowing you to skip it completely (the .357 just helps to kill the guards faster). Other than this which I'm not sure is any faster, your run of embedded was near perfect in terms of strategy. P.S. I'll be editing this as I find more strats
I stopped running this game the day I did this run, it was just too long and had too many cutscenes for my taste. I heard about what you mentioned on embedded like the day after this run though, cool strat.
Yeah, the length is the one thing that's keeping me from wanting to run the full game. Although I've found that running individual missions is more fun that way you can focus on strats and it's less boring. Anyways I can't wait to see what game you run next. Good luck!!!

@@EZHNO That's true there are a lot of times where I feel like you're held back by a slow NPC, or just stuck waiting for something to trigger. It's definitely not a game designed for speedrunning. I feel like the speedrunning community just isn't there in newer games. Especially on Xbox and PS4. It's kinda sad that the only console putting out good games for running is Nintendo. Hopefully, people like you can find a way to give those consoles a speedrunning community.
It's the first time I see some gameplay of CoD MW remastered. They STILL don't know how a silencer work, and good luck moving/shooting with the gas mask. You can't see relief like, AT. ALL. Everything is flat, like when you go skiing. So they still don't know how that work too. Well, the game has great graphics, at least there's that... BTW good speedrun as far as I can tell 😂
I can't say if its faster or not overall, i've never formally timed it. if i recall correctly, after you do the bhop and land, you lose basically all momentum. And off the top of my head the only places it would potentially be useful is on the first mission, when going down the first big hill, after the first door. Or on the mission where you play as young Farah during the gas attack, there's a hill in the poppy fields area after you get out of the city, before you kill the two men with the revolver. Any of this information is liable to be incorrect, as I haven't touched the game since this run was posted, nor have I watched any runs since.
Wait so you can skip the entire segment with sabotaging the helicopters in Embedded just by running all the way through that one building? That seems like a pretty big sequence break that they didn't bother to block off
Slap it onto the watch later list and come back after you've played. That way you don't spoil it and you'll have your own playthrough to compare against.

Most call of duty games are heavily 'scripted' for lack of a better word. Of the entire duration of the run, I timed out that there is 1:00:56 where its cutscenes or where the player cannot do stuff.

Nope, just a mouse and thousands of hours on FPS games. Also its significantly easier to have good aim when you know where most enemies are going to be.
If I got a dollar every time I made someone on the other team quit, I would've been making like 25$ an hour during the first few weeks of the games release lmao.
