usually it is unwise to attack morocco turn one because germany will almost always have enough planes that can reach to destroy a destroyer and your two transports

I don't do combat the first turn when I play as the US. In my experience, the most effective use is to keep a cool head, build a powerful force over several turns to start hammering away at France and Norway. That has only failed to turn the war in europe around once or twice.

I feel like USA is the most difficult nation to play as. idk, island nations and buying transports can be rough.

Use midway to build up and if japan moves all navy to attack you and has the advantage simply move ships back to west coast or take Solomon’s. I find that makes it hard for japan to take India and forces japan to arms race with America.force japan to attack you unless you know you will win? That’s my favorite way to get started

I do take Morocco with the US in the first turn, but I focus the US in the Pacific. Russia should take Finland and west Russia in the first turn. The UK builds 3 tanks each turn in India, each turn, and the left over IPC's to maintain their Atlantic Presence. Sometimes I only build 2 tanks and an Artillery for India the first turn to build a factory in South Africa. That strategy means I give up the atlantic to Germany, but with the extra tanks from South Africa and The US focused in the Pacific, Japan's fleet and land presence will be neutralized soon enough for The UK to turn those Extra tanks towards Germany. Russia's job is to hold off Germany long enough for that to happen.

No no 1st turn buy 1 battleship 1 carrier 1 destroyer or a transport depending on strength of japan
