I always spray on my cloth and surprisingly it last all day,I sprayed(5/6 sprays from a VIAL mind you) around 6am and you can still smell it at 9pm.

Laura Mercier Creme de Pistache was my absolute favorite and I was very sad when it was discontinued......can't wait to give this one a try. ❤

You would probably be better off tracking down a bottle of that, and paying 150 bucks for it, instead of that amount on this fragrance.
Kyse Frangipane Al Pistachio is the best pistachio scent I’ve ever smelled. Very gourmand!

Urban outfitters’ perfume line (the name is escaping me) used to carry a Pistachio Brûlée scent that I was absolutely obsessed with. Longevity was awful but it was so cheap, and I would carry it around with me all day in my backpack. I miss that one 😢

I wanted to love this so so badly after seeing the notes, but it ended up being quite the disappointment. All I get is a slightly creamy, vaguely nutty, sweet pistachio scented shampoo or bubble bath liquid. Nothing that smells distinctly like marshmallow, cotton candy or even rum. Just a nondescript sweetness. Kayali will always have a place in my heart due to 3 of their fragrances being scents that I really love, but this new release is just not that great to my nose at all unfortunately. I'm so grateful I was able to get a decant first from a generous friend because this would've been a failed blind buy for me.
That is a shame. I have seen mixed opinions and I find it so interesting that we all perceive this one so differently. The rum and hazelnut is so distinctive to me but others are not getting it at all. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Omg, Hayley, this fragrance is everything. Pistachio is one of my favorite notes and I have been scouring Fragrantica for other pistachio perfumes, and along comes Kayali with this. I cannot wait to get my nose on this. Vanilla Royale wasn’t for me, just too heavy for my taste, but this one will be a love, and I haven’t even met her yet and am in love already.
I love this!! It is absolutely a lighter gourmand which is perfect for spring summer. If you found vanilla royale too heavy this should be for you! Can’t wait for you to try it! 🤍
I received mine the other day and I agree it’s a stunning fragrance but not what I was expecting, I thought it’d be more gourmand.. it also doesn’t last very long for an intense. Still, a pretty scent 💚

I love that your top is giving me pistachio colours with the bottle! Its sold out on sephora Canada so I will wait to test this one. I am curious about it but will probably get a small one to see.

Was this reformulated to a more intense version? I got a full bottle since I got my first 10 ml months ago ( which I decluttered)and it is so much more potent. I was expecting to have to let it sit but I can wear it right out of the box.😊
I don’t think so, it’s likely now just had time to macerate. We all tried the new release so fresh and I feel it needed time to sit. Glad it’s intense for you!

I definitely want to go to the local-ish Sephora that I believe has several of their perfumes in stock. That one definitely interests me and is likely something I will pick up eventually.

The opening of this fragrance is my favorite.To me, it smells like that sherbet ice cream you buy at the grocery store that comes in a round plastic container and has 3 different colors but with a hint of citrus and pistachio. When the perfume dried down, It immediately reminded me of another perfume. I said to myself that I had smelled this before and for some reason, the dry down reminds me of aquolinas pink sugar but with a note of pistachio. Idk 🤷♀️ I might be the only one who smells it lol. I'm not getting a fullbottle because tbh, it wasn't what I was expecting and it didn't blow me away.

Ooooh sherbet ice cream. I am sold! I haven’t sampled pink sugar, it was never a thing in the UK so I can’t reference that one.

I instantly recognized that Teo Cabanel flower paper haha. Didn't really like anything from the house, luckily only bought a discovery set. Seeing a lot of negative first impressions around this - I don't think anybody should buy something with the intention of JUST layering with it (which is basically what a lot of my collection has gotten relegated to).
I do love to layer fragrances but prefer to wear them as they were intended to be! I think this one works both way to be honest. I do love it layered though I have to say!!
I have a new Teo on route which I am excited about, I hear they have another new release coming soon too!

Have you tried AMBER 23 Invites only ? Warm amber and boozy cherry + cinnamon: it’s my close second fave after vanilla 28, however this might dethrone ot😅
I’ve tried them all, addict over here!! I have my Invite Only to my Mum but I only had a 10ml bottle. I will pick up a full size at some point! 😊

I don't think this smells anything like the notes....it's just vague pistachio and citrus in the beginning, but so light and blah. I thought it would have a much stronger presence and base given how many heavier notes are listed, but it so light. It lasted 2 hours for me on clothes too (!!!), so an absolute miss, just such an underwhelming experience all round. I'm not a fan of the brand but got a sample of this one as it sounded great, but I wouldn't even really describe this as gourmand, it's too light in texture I think. Such a strange release.
Ohhh that is such a shame that it was such a miss for you! I’ve just watched a few reviews and I am seeing mixed opinions in this one for sure. I really do get all of the notes, the hazelnut and rum is most prominent to me and then the pistachio and marshmallow comes through. I guess the classic noses perceiving differently or batch differences?

Do you get any soapy smelling notes in this? A lot of the low reviews on sephora said it smelled clean or like soap at a gas station bathroom 😭
I don’t get a soapy quality at all. Either noses perceiving differently or batch variations.

I honestly don’t get that reference at all, maybe we have different shampoo here in the UK! I guess everyone will perceive differently but I get the yummy gourmand aspects of it. 😊
