No, it's not normally ok to put cooked chicken in a pan that formerly held raw chicken. However, since Ferideh has professional cooking experience she does. You know, because they do that kind of crap all the time in restaurant kitchens. If one could see the health code massacre and the cross contamination that actually takes place, few of us would eat out anymore. Thank goodness for closed kitchens.
Well, she would have cooked the salmonella OUT of the chicken in that pan, so then the pan would have needed to be hot enough to kill off that bacteria in the first place. Nothing to worry about!
One of the most important aspects of this dish you did not address. The origin of the Marsala. Not all Marsalas are the same and produce the same results by a long shot.

Tried this out it worked a treat. However I added sultanas before the cream and let them swell up. It adds another sweet dimension to the dish.
I misread it "masala" and got weirded out by the mushrooms and color of the sauce hahaha. I'm gonna try this one 😋💕
