- Enjoy a ride on the Disney Skyliner from Disney's Hollywood Studios to EPCOT, with a stop at the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort station. For all of our Skyliner videos in the past, we were allowed to have our own cabin when we asked but it seems like those days are presumably gone. We asked like we always do and both times we were told no. It was naturally busy but we've ridden this during much busier times in 2022, and was still given our own cabin when asking. Just wanted to give you all a heads up that completely silent ride videos on the Skyliner may be over unfortunately. This was filmed on March 18th 2023 from around 3pm - 3:30pm

How can’t you love the skyway? It’s probably the best mode of transportation the parks have to offer!
I used to be so nervous on the skyliner but now I really enjoy the ride, I don’t even get nervous when you stop for a bit up there sometimes.

Well let's hope you can still get your own cabin especially if it isn't busy. Let's just say those cast members were having a bad day this day. Excellent as always even with other passenger's voices mixed in 4K. Hearing the announcer says, "wave to your adoring fans, Bye!" Cracks me up everytime.
I hope so too! What made me think those days are gone was because of my experience at the Studios station. We only had 6 ppl behind us, and they still boarded 2 others in our cabin. I’ve asked for a cabin just for my party countless times with much longer lines in the past, but idk. I’ll keep asking and we’ll see what happens. I’m glad you still enjoyed the video Andrew! I know, logistically it’s easier said than done, but I would love to see the Skyway expanded to the other parks and other resorts.
And listen, if you can’t take the skyway by yourself, and you need a friend to ride with you so that no one can speak, I have no problem volunteering to be that guy lol.

Haha I appreciate that Craig! I was with a party of 3 this time, and they still boarded 2 others with us. So even if it were just me and you, they’ll probably add at least 2 more in there. I made one from Epcot to Riviera and back, nothing as good as 4K's.

🚋It was nice that the cabins were not wrapped at least. Who knows, keep asking because maybe it being Saturday had something to do with it, not getting a raise, etc might come into play👨🏻✈ Nice to see Remi's fountain 😍from high. Construction wise, a retired imagineer instagrammed his displeasure of the pictures of the new building use. It's not a Speedway, but a new bldg so they all can fight for use - I just want to see no walls in that area lol.Thx💜
The thing I keep missing every time I go there, especially if I keep staying at poly. Even if I haven’t visited for 2023, I’m already planning my 2024 vacation, and am thinking about the Boardwalk; so I can take advantage of the skyliner!
Yea, never say never but it seems unlikely! There were only 6 people behind me at the Studios station, and yet they still put 2 of them with us. The Epcot line was much longer so I can understand that but we will see. I’ll keep asking and see what happens over time. I think I saw the same post you’re referring to! The new pictures they released of Communicore Hall were weird and confusing. That gallery area seems literally useless, but idk lol. These are the same people who wasted money to destroy an entire building, just to end up rebuilding half of it 2 years later but what do I know! But I agree, I also just want the walls down, no matter how disappointed I’ll presumably be. Thank you as always Liz!!
Nice trivia -buena vista drive. No wonder I get confused, it’s named after lake buena vista in California.
I loved riding these when we went! Nice break from the day and awesome scenery! Plus the way to switch in/out the disabled ones: amazing!

Thanks for the relaxing video! I love the Skyliner and was bummed that we didn't get to take it at all during my last visit in December 2022. I plan to take it on a resort hopping adventure one day when I'm there again later this year! =)
The Skyliner is such a great and fun way to move about. My last ride, I shared with a couple of off duty cast members (who had asked if they could hang out with me a couple of hours when they found out I was on a solo visit). Your cabin-mates didn’t seem too chatty or loud. The Skyliner is one of the reasons I am considering a move from the resort where I currently have a reservation for an upcoming short visit. Thank you for this fun escape, 4K!!
I'll be staying in a standard Boardwalk Villa room in a few weeks. The standard view was just the parking lots, but now you can sit and watch the skyliner go by! Solo traveler here as well.

It was a wonderful experinence. Though I enjoy my solo trips, I could not have asked for better company those couple of hours at DHS, then on the Skyliner back over to Epcot…very happy memory 😊
I am doing my first ever solo visit later this fall and I cannot wait to just experience Disney that way! =)

What skyline were you on?
I want to go on the skyline but we are never in a position to have the need. Maybe book a reservation at the restaurant in the Riviera? My wife already stated that there is no way she would get in the skylines. I think our son and I could convince her:) great videos.
You could certainly do that! Topolino’s Terrace has really good food. Haha I have some family afraid to go in the gondolas and I tried to convince them that it’s fine, but they still won’t do it lol. Thank you as always Erik!
What would you say takes longer: taking the Skyliner to Epcot or walking from HS to Epcot?
I guess it depends on your pace. If you fast walk, then I’d say walking would be faster. The Skyliner naturally takes about 15-20 minutes with no issues. but usually the gondolas stop often on the Epcot line
I wonder if Disney would develop/landscape the area below the Skyliner between 3:00-4:20 instead of leaving it as concrete with grass & weeds growing about it. 🤔

When you do have to ride with other people do they ever ask you what your filming or what its for or is it just an awkward ride the whole way? Great video either way though!!
Haha I’ve only filmed with others with me a couple of times since it opened, and no one has ever asked. The ride definitely is extremely awkward though😂 Thanks so much as always Kymberly!
How long does it take to get to Epcot by skyline?
From the studios, I’d say about 20-25 minutes
And from Caribbean Beach to Epcot?
