I am SO with you about aging gracefully (says the Gen X lady!!). I have not ever worried about aging and wrinkles. I look at people who have aged with no work and they have the most beautiful faces. You can read a person’s character in their face, you can pick up on their life travels, and my favorite, you can tell if they smile a lot. Not only is it sad to see young women nowadays prematurely aging themselves in the ironic quest to stay young, but they are quite literally erasing their unique identities that shape the face…only to look like all the other girls with the work done, and they look like they marched out of a mold in a warehouse. Omg wax away my Dear! This is one of the best, wisest, & sweetest comments I have read on YT in a while! I’m 54 years old or young depending on the day & proud of my age, my lines, my imperfections etc! And will not bother with getting work done…don’t really have the cash but like how I look & would rather put the money elsewhere…not saying that it’s wrong to get Botox or fillers but just not for me. I find all of the Kayali perfumes wear down quickly. I love many of their scents and have invested in a few full size bottles however because of their cost and their fragrance losing its potency quite quickly, I will purchase the smaller sizes instead in the future, and only the scent is very exciting tome. It’s too bad because I enjoy many of the scents they showcase but it basically takes no time for the smell to lose its strength. This con of their products has truly changed the game for me when shopping for a new scent and it’s unfortunate as I really do enjoy their unique collection.
On a positive note, your review on the products today was great. You are consistent when making points that describe how and why you come to your conclusion and you give much attention in providing the response to the products. You make it look easy when I’m certain much research and effort is required for your videos. This is one of the reasons I continue to follow you on CZcams. I can always count on reliable and accurate information.

I also bought the rare beauty powder blush and it not only came broken, but the shade I got was just a highlighter when swatched. It had no blush pigment at all! :(
I loveeeee the new rare beauty powder blushes!! However, mine literally hasn’t been anywhere other than my makeup vanity and it broke 😂😅 it didn’t come broken but I’m just confused and annoyed that it broke without being dropped or anything because they are gorgeous!!!!

For the DAE dry shampoo, I use a kabuki makeup brush to distribute it into my hair and it gets rid of the white cast for me! I know DAE sells one but I had plenty of brushes laying around. Hope this helps! 🫶🏻

Love the DM blush. The O/S is the best setting spray I've tried, but the smell is so toxic . Maybe I should try applying it outside then running. Didn't like the UD face bond the first try but glad I gave it another try. It's similar to the Dior Forever Matte I've been wearing for yrs. I actually wore it side by side to the mall a couple weeks ago and the Dior rep told me she liked the UD better said it looked less like make up then the Dior. Lol I actually agree both wear all day and control my oil plus the UD is cheaper so I'm happy I tried it. Wish the DM Yummy primer worked on me but doesn't seem to do anything. But I think I'm the only one. Lol

The writer in me is coming out here. Allow me to paint a picture lol. *cracks knuckles* ... I'm in houston texas and got off work early. I feel in a good productive, decluttering flow. I decide to walk to CVS for a photo album for my loose pictures, and then Marshalls for a scrap book for all my little...scraps (lol) of memories I can't bring myself to part with. It's hot, humid, etc. I feel good about the CVS trip bc I found a better price-per-ounce (😉)bottle of CeraVe lotion and I had a 25% off coupon. I march to Marshall's, again, feeling so on top of it. But in Marshalls my search for a scrapbook is in vain. At the same time I am getting a hunger headache and really want water. I trudge home overheated and frustrated, only to find Andrea uploaded and it's a longer one! my mood lifts, and I set about to literally "chill" watching the video. the end.😌 so, thanks for the video haha. Hi. So do you use the Danessa Myricks serum and then on top a primer? Trying to figure out how to use it.
Yes! I feel like it’s great at oil controlling but I usually prefer to use a smoothing or even slightly tacky primer so I usually use it under a primer. If you’re not a primer person, you could definitely use it alone but it’s so thin and sinks right into the skin so it doesn’t do much in terms of smoothing/gripping!

I've learned that i need to go in store, put a perume on, wear it all day, then go back and purchase or not. I have to wear it for a day to know if i actually like it on me.
Andrea, can you please recommend a good eyeshadow primer for oily eyelids. I have been using the Milani one for years but seems like the older I am getting, the more oily my skin is getting.
I really like the essence primer! It comes in purple and white packaging! I will say that lately I’ve just been using a little bit of concealer and setting it with setting powder though. I feel like that makes a difference when it’s warmer out!
I’m testing out the UD, which primer do you use with it? I like it but find my nose gets a little oily towards the end of the day
I’ve been using the Caliray So Blown or the elf Liquid Poreless Putty Primer with it! I feel like those really help where I get a little more oily.

Have you found that your foundation patches up/separates when applied on top of the Danessa Myricks powder serum? I tried applying it after my SPF but before foundation and I can’t tell what what caused the poor finished look :(
I don’t know why but for me the rare beauty blushes are pretty pigmented and I have gotten a lot of compliments 😊
I also want to see if you can touch on eye lid oily lids what do you use to get shadows to stay.
I'm kind of surprised that the Rare beauty blushes seem sheer to you. the colors I got are so pigmented even with a duo bristle brush i have to be very careful and have a light hand. However, they are so very very delicate that I've broken 2 just having them in my makeup bag.

So I use the Danessa Myricks serum first then use the yummy skin blurring balm powder on top where I have texture. Both control oil well without drying out my skin and I can use the balm powder on its own as well if I just need to control oil and even out my skin a bit.
That's a really good tip! I've been wanting to get more use out of my blurring balm powder so I'm going to try using them together now.
I feel the same way about the new Glow Recipe sunscreen stick.
I use rare beauty blush as a topper.

You need to try the Benefit Porefessional spray, it works and isn’t too matte or shiny.
Have you tried La Vanilla? I bought a rollerball to keep in my purse. I usually wear the original Burberry or Good Girl, but I like La Vanilla, too. There’s a Victoria Beckham fragrance my husband really likes (I had a sample), but that’s more expensive. It’s called San Ysidro Drive.
I fine the new foundations are so yellow. Can find a shade .Urban Decay reminds me of the Mac shades. Enjoyed video

I tried the Rare Beauty blush in the store on top of the liquid blush. It looked great on top of the liquid. Unfortunately after about 10 min I started to have an allergic reaction so between the allergy and the price I’ll pass.

Quick question for those that have the new Fenty foundation, I went into Ulta one day and one of the girls came up to me and asked me if I was needing help, and I told her no but I did ask her opinion on the foundation and the first thing she said was " I personally don't like it cause it oxidizes pretty bad". I was surprised cause I really love Fenty products and I haven't heard anyone saying that. So, have any of you had that issue?
I have noticed all Fenty foundations oxidize really bad for me. I buy my shade and it ends up orange within 20 minutes applying it. I don’t buy that brand of foundation anymore
I did not like the rare beauty powder blushes as it is far too shiny for me, I could only ever see myself using them as eyeshadow, which I do with their highlighter as there is no way I would use that on my actual face. I am not a fan of glowy looks. I like the colours of the Saie liquid blush. I am keen on the new Kayali perfume, but need to smell it first. I bought the pistachio one online and it was ok, too sweet for me so am now very cautious with buying perfumes online. Never doing that again unless it is a repeat purchase of a scent I already know

I almost went with that one but when I swatched it in person it was so yellow! I feel like this line just leans so warm/yellow it’s been tough to find a perfect match. 😭 That’s my only issue with it.

I have to share this funny thing that happened to me. I bought the LA Girl color correctors in blue and white. I used the blue on my Missha foundation thinking it would lighten it up. I got it backwards! I should’ve used the white! When I was done with my makeup my husband asked “What happened to your face? It looks blue “ 🤦🏻♀️OMG I was so embarrassed. We laughed so much 😂 I wish it didn’t have the brush applicator. Maybe I can take it off. Good thing I was just playing with my makeup and not going anywhere. Hope you have a great evening TTYL!😊❤️💄

Does anyone have a rec for a longer wear skin tint that is somewhat dewy and not fully matte for normal leaning oily skin type?
Have you tried the Fenty skin tint? It's a little more matte compared to others I have tried but if you use something like the elf Power Grip or another glowy primer underneath, it comes through the skin tint! The nice part is it really does last on the skin well throughout the day.
