    Thanks, no doctor discusses this with the patient.I wish Doctors could explain menopause to patients and give us such advise.
    They just focus on removing the utreus.
    I get pelvic pain when I do work at home or stand for a long time.I use castor oil to massage the pelvic region and it gives great relief and cure.I use the vibrator exercise machine ,it strengthens the pelvic region and gives temperory pain relief.
    I had heavy non stop bleeding and did hip bath.The bleeding stopped.I realisee that heat in the body causes extreme period bleeding...but the pelvic pain remains...going to try pelvic floor exercise for a solution from within

    I'm 44 and ended up having a hysterectomy four years ago due to a prolapsed uterus so I have a sling holding everything else in place. I have spent years dealing with an on going bladder and yeast infections, which seems to have become less of them, I still have issues with urination.

      @AvogelCoUk  Před 2 lety

      Hi Sangeeta
      Although not very common, some women do experience diarrhoea in the menopause, however, this can be caused by lots of different issues such as stress, diet, IBS, food poisoning or an infection so it is important to get this checked by your doctor if it has gone on for more than a few days.

      Hi Patricia
      If the nausea started after using the patches, then it could be side effects so worth mentioning to your doctor. Otherwise please check out my vlog on nausea and what you can do to help yourself. www.avogel.co.uk/health/menopause/videos/how-to-relieve-menopause-nausea/

    Hello Eileen. I'm 58 years old. Is it too late to exercise since I do have a prolapse. The gynaecologist said I do need to have an operation at some point. I was never told especially by the gynaecologist to do pelvic floor muscles exercises after child birth ! Thanking you in advance.

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Christina
      It's never too late to start exercising but, in your situation, you do need to be careful not to aggravate the condition. I would recommend speaking to a Pilates instructor. They can give you a safe exercise plan to follow and can also give you specific exercises that may help to stabilise your condition further.

      @AvogelCoUk  Před 2 lety

      Hi Puffy Muffin
      Yes, it could be anxiety, this can often affect bladder function. You may find a relaxing herb such as Valerian or Avena sativa as these can calm the bladder.

    Is anal canal also included in pelvic floor muscles??can menopause cause inflammation in anal canal too

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes Ibadur, this is included as well, however, inflammation can be caused by other factors too such as IBS so I assume that you've had this checked by your doctor?

      It is interesting that our mums often didn't have the same issues as we do, maybe life was simpler and most women stayed at home so there was less pressure on them, who knows? :)
