- Here is a medical show with a difference. Pure sarcasm surrounded by sick people.Hugh Laurie delivers lines in a dark and sarcastic manner that never fails to crack us all up. As we see in the bloopers compilation....he does go off script. So is it all down to Hugh and his personal wit or the writers skill. I personally think it's a mixture of both that has made this show what it is today. Enjoy :-)

That's one of the many ironies of this show. Dr. House hates people, yet he can read them better than most psychologists.
