I thought they'd add a crystal jam. Instead, they came up with the WORST idea. The new Dark Cacao cookie will be hard to get, just like mystic flour(I didn't get her). I feel like they did this for money without considering f2p. In addition, there's no guarantee they'll never do this to other ancients and rarities. After watching the story of episode 4, I'll quit. Unless they fix this mess.
My idea for Dark cacao crystal jam and Dark choco magic candy: *Dark cacao* 💜:- regular ATK targets 3 -> all enemies in range, cause 2% injury and has a 50% chance to stun for 1 second. Consuming Darkness stacks 3 -> 6. *First hit* - max injury capacity increased to 40% from 25%. -DEF 15% -> 25%, both ATK and DEF reduction duration +1 second and now both stack up to 2 times. 15% zap every 0.5 second than 3% every 1 second upto 3 stacks. *Second hit* - stun for 2 seconds and does 50% extra DMG for every debuff on the target. *Dark cacao warrior hood* [gains 50% ATK SPD and all the debuffs caused by him now can't be purified or blocked (injury can still be removed) and all the damage bypasses 40% of target's DMG resist if caramel arrow and D.choco are on the same team]. *Dark choco* 🍫:- huge default ATK buff, regular ATK hits multiple enemies, skill hits 20x. *Giant dark lightning* - enemy with the highest HP receives 40% fixed true DMG based on HP (cookies) 800% of ATK (non cookie), stuns for 3 seconds (+700% more DMG of ATK if target is immune to stun) and additionally decrease their DEF by 40%. *Cursed power* :(20% ATK, 6% crit, 10% ATK speed, 8% DMG resist and 8% Debuff resist) for each skill up to 5 stacks. 12.5% injury for 50 seconds capped at 25% + 2 second stun and 40% bleed every 0.5 second for 7 seconds on 5th stack, stacks reset on 5th stack. *Dark cacao warrior hood* [all the debuffs caused by him now can't be purified or blocked. Only if caramel arrow and D.cacao are on the same team].

I don't blame them for having some p2w functions, because it's not feasible to have a complete free to play game. But they're becoming increasingly obnoxious. I would say ever since they stated adding Super Epic cookies that would fall off meta in the next patch. The pvp in this game is superficially manufactured. And fomo is real because not having the new characters quite literally affects your rankings and your reward earnings.

- Ascension Phase 6 (Genshin) > Keep Grinding!

- Wedding Rarity (Touhou Lost Word) > No rate ups, standard drop rate, No pity, requires 4 dupes for lv100
- Ultra Forms (Battle Cats) > Requires bunch of catseyes, XP, Behemoth stones so.. *KEEP GRINDING!*
- Plus Variant (CRK) > Whales: "i'm filing a divorce!"
