No empties this month, just steady progress on my lip liner, liquid lipstick and concealer. I don’t complain though, those are very challenging products and I’m sure they will take me the rest of the year to finish. And I decided to add a lipgloss to the project. I found out that I don’t enjoy glosses anymore, so I want to pan all my glosses (I have 4 I guess) and keep the lip oils in my collection
My panning itself is going well, but I am so off schedule with my updates. I just did my update on Cream like 10 days ago, but hopefully I can get my sh!t together in July!
Well done for having steady progress, this project is definitely for the long term because cream products are hard. You have made steady progress on really tough products which is exciting. That's good that there is 4 left to get through. I don't know if i have ever tried a lip oil so i must.

Impressive usage in those pencils! Waterline pencils are tricky! Primer potions and such like take forever to use up! I need to get that primer potion to keep my eyeshadow on my eyeballs! Clean beauty brands aren't worth it I think, preservatives aren't that bad, and if products have been played by the EU and their safety rules, generally I trust them. Well done on finishing the highlight! RIP but good riddance to the blush, I think I'm gonna start keeping cream products in the fridge during British heatwaves. I believe tower28 is also clean, so absolutely get your money's worth out of it!
Re: dry eyes, if your tears dry too fast your eyes can be dry and watery. It seems counterintuitive but my eye Dr told me to use a lid scrub or plain baby shampoo to make sure my eyelids are totally clean… and avoid too much eye make up. I just suffer 😂 I’m looking forward to joining 🥰

Great update Steph! I have had my tower 28 bronzer for about a year now (same with the blushes) and so far they have not expired. But I do agree the tone of it is off. It’s not too light to be a bronzer on me but it comes off really weird on my complexion

I’ve been using up a lipgloss per month on average. I also am also done with my bare minerals bb cream and hourglass palette. I don’t have IG or a channel so I do it to help hold myself accountable on using up products and curb my spending in some areas. 😅

yay to decluttering the blush! i get it. i do the same thing with my lipstick panning. my brain = but im trying to finish it. my nose = this is disgusting. eventually my nose wins, or really i keep trying and then it does bother my lips or i swear being sick to my stomach is because of the lipstick. then eventually my brain (very slowly) agrees to throw it out. but it takes about a week of arguing with myself lol.

@@StephLyons yes!!! Get rid of the Kosas blush, lol. Life is just too short to use stinky makeup, lol!! I really enjoy the Lifter Glosses. I have them in nearly every shade!!! Crazy right, lol! I do really like the Maybelline Mousse Foundation, it goes on quickly, is a medium/high buildable coverage and is matte. The only thing I will say is that this one does not last on me as long as others during hot/humid weather. I do enjoy it though! :). Good to hear from you my friend!!
The only clean beauty brand I will buy cream products from is Westman Atelier. I have no problem knowing that cream blushes and bronzers will go off quickly, because I tend to pan them fast (barring Natasha Denona). But they need to at least last until their expiry date. Although Westman Atelier is bougie AF, they at least last as long as they say they will and you get a good amount of product. I've never had an issue with my Tower 28 glosses going off, but because that is one of my fastest panning lipgloss formulas, I tend to crack one open and finish it. I LOVE MAC liners, not only for lips, but for lid and waterline. they are opaque and they stay, all three formulas. And they last way longer than most brands IMO. And I am murder on pencils. Gah! It's so hard to find a decent selection of Rimmel around here. If a store even has it, the bay is small and has so few products.
I have never tried Westman Atelier but now I have another wishlist brand haha. You make lovely juicy progress on your products. I love it. Whhhhyyyy don't I? ahah. It's interesting to know that the glosses go off quickly. Maybe I will use some next since summer is my favourite time of year and then circle back to nyx. Hi Steph! Omg I know the struggle. I used Invisalign and lipstick on the retainers was always a problem, on and in, like it would get inside the retainers too lol especially gloss. I make project pan videos but my content is in Spanish 🙃

@@StephLyons i could never solve the lipstick problem. Sometimes i just lived with it and other times I removed them before filming and put them back on after the video, not ideal. I did it when masks where required in most places so that wasn’t too bad but when I was maskless it made me self conscious to even smile 🥴 I had to be constantly checking my teeth. It’s a hiccup but it’s worth it!

One of the reasons why I don’t like clean beauty is because they go bad faster. I don’t care about stuff being vegan either, but that’s just me. 🤷🏻♀️ I think it’s best to get rid of it because you don’t want to get a rash or break out.

The camera just judges me. 😂 Same. I felt that in my soul. This eyelook is so gorgeous. 😍 I think I am the only person who did not enjoy the Milani eye primer. I found it to be a bit oily feeling and made some shadows patchy.

I adore your eye look - its so green and shimmery and I couldn't stop looking at that colour! Way to get two done and 1 usage that is such good progress! I finally finished my setting spray. It is now something I definitely am adding to my routine. I had 6 and now I have 5 all challenging so I am not going to roll anything it just yet! I am going to give myself lofty goals again and see if I can hit them for the month in terms of usage. I think august is where I will see some empties but we will try for earlier because why the heck not?

I felt like your mam leaving that comment glad it was taken in the spirt it was left :) If it helps i let a Charlotte tilbury cream shadow go today - got 3/4 used. But was almost 3 years open and was trying to pan it but it was giving me mild eye infection in my left eye when used. It hurt to admit it beat me.

Watching this update 4 months late, but I have to say, I also got the Marc Jacobs eyeliner a few years ago and it did NOT work in my waterline. It as also kinda dry, which surprised me. I'm starting to think that the mini's had a dryer formula. But I don't think having watery eyes is linked to having dry eye. Both my mom and I have watery eyes, hers are dry because of medication, mines are not.
I did not like mine at all either. I was wondering what the hype was for this product and its very interesting to hear the difference between you and your mothers experiences. I am having trouble finding a black eye liner that actually stays. Do you recommend anything?

I found the Milani one to irritate my eyes. My favorite drug store eye primer at the moment is the elf shadow lock.
I adore your eye look - its so green and shimmery and I couldn't stop looking at that colour! Way to get two done and 1 usage that is such good progress! I finally finished my setting spray. It is now something I definitely am adding to my routine. I had 6 and now I have 5 all challenging so I am not going to roll anything it just yet! I am going to give myself lofty goals again and see if I can hit them for the month in terms of usage. I think august is where I will see some empties but we will try for earlier because why the heck not?

But was almost 3 years open and was trying to pan it but it was giving me mild eye infection in my left eye when used. It hurt to admit it beat me.

Watching this update 4 months late, but I have to say, I also got the Marc Jacobs eyeliner a few years ago and it did NOT work in my waterline. It as also kinda dry, which surprised me. I'm starting to think that the mini's had a dryer formula. But I don't think having watery eyes is linked to having dry eye. Both my mom and I have watery eyes, hers are dry because of medication, mines are not.
I did not like mine at all either. I was wondering what the hype was for this product and its very interesting to hear the difference between you and your mothers experiences. I am having trouble finding a black eye liner that actually stays. Do you recommend anything?
