So the Sanctuary Guardian in the new content respawns after killing it but not only that, there's two in the arena instead of one. While I didn't think much of it in NG, it was a whole different kettle of fish in NG+ and pretty balls to the wall. - Hry

I can just imagine the From Soft staff meeting before the DLC was completed.
The head developer is like "Okay, guys, we just created an unmercifully fast boss who likes to vomit lightning everywhere, and the player beats him. Where do we go from here?"
And some guy named Steven raises his hand and says "Why don't we place TWO of the bosses where the first one was?"

I look at these guys as the true final bosses of the game. Compared to them, even Manus is a breeze.
Nah man, no thanks. One guardian is enough. This is probably the meanest shit in the entirety of the soulsborne series - Bloodborne and 3 included.

On my original guardian boss fight I didn't manage to cut off the tail, so I decided to do it in the double fight. I got 2 tails eventually, but regretted it.

I found this boss simple on New game. Totally took me by surprise on new game+ though. I'm on my 15th attempt or something and am still getting destroyed by it.

@Qalidurut I only picked up DS1 PTDE a few months ago and man I was missing out. Haven't tried the remastered but the original is still so good, by far my fav game of all time.
@Qalidurut Yea my PC version had some issues that were fixed by DSfix patch, works like a charm. I'm gonna buy a controller however for DS2 coz I didn't like it with mouse+keyboard at all.
Nice kill, dude. I easily found this to be the hardest fight in the DLC if you're not cheesing them. What SL were you? Your GLGS was doing more damage at times than my Demon Great Machete when I was trying with that.
I also really liked your highlights at the end. Some nice editing work to make really intense action. Good job, dude.
This battle easily has the potential of being the greatest thing in Dark Souls. And this video really shows the awesome combat system in Dks too

They are kind of fun if you get used to their attacks, they're like O&S but much more aggressive

nope if u manage to kill 1 and die, the otherone respawns. its not as social as dks 2
If u want to cheese them use a bow at the entrance. They wont move XD

The monster hunter theme make me want to hunt some monsters...
Adrenaline's a hell of a drug.
Hmm I suspect that this is probably the hardest 'boss' fight in the game. They're basically a more mobile Smough and Orns without any pillars. The Guardians have a bigger variety of attacks than regular Orns and Smough plus they have more spammy ranged attacks AND they can close the distance ridiculously fast. The only weakness is they have less health than a true boss.
One Sanctuary Guardian is pretty easy, two, I've never beaten two.
They offer very little souls for the hassle and respawn too so it's not worth killing them at all.

You need to do this on your SL 1 NG+7 character. Now THAT would be something to see!
They drop a weapon called Guardian Tail, essentially a scorpion tail whip. 16/14, D/C, 300 poison, IIRC.
After you kill the one and go back to the sanctuary there are two chillin' there waiting to put a woopin' on you.
And THAT highlight reel at the end! epic

Do you know what event triggers the respawn? I beat the lone one and I haven't beaten any other Oolacile bosses and they are not respawned yet. Also, once they respawn, do they do so at each bonfire visit from then on?

This video is a testament to the dual boss system being such a luck system. You just have to hope their movepaths and attacks dont wreck you. Still a super fun fight :P

There’s a re fight with two!?
There's really no "cheap" armor (Crown of Dusk with dark magic notwithstanding), but the Paladin Armor offers really good protection against all damage types and status ailments (ESPECIALLY curse) and is relatively lightweight. The full set weighs only 33.1, and offers almost as much protection as heavier armor sets, which usually weigh upwards of 45.
Really, it's just one of those things you're gonna see online A LOT, and you'll get sick of it pretty quickly.

why are you using green blossoms if you have the grass crest equipped do they stack ?
Even in NG I was just completely destroyed by them. Next thing I did was hid myself in those tree roots and spammed Spears and Arrows and Bows. Luckily got one killed and then second was just bit of luck.
What soul level is this character you used? I imagine it would have to be quite high.
