Ville is so interesting, charming, articulate and clever in conversation as opposed to in interview where he kinda repeats himself and gives default answers. But THIS talk you were so lucky to have with him, i do love 🖤
I first heard HIM 22 years ago when I was 13 and I first saw them live 20 years ago. As I grew older I always kept an interest in what VV was up too but work and kids and life in general got in the way. When I heard he was making a solo album and touring I started listening again. Me and my buddy saw him live in London this past week and since then I’ve been devouring as much material from VV as possible. This ‘interview’ which felt much more like a conversation was beautiful! My favourite so far and I’m so pleased to be listening to his work again and feeling like my old teenage self again. Thank you.
Actually the change of topic wasn't as drastic in the original full-length interview 😊 This video is an edited version of the podcast (available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts I believe).
Omg now i understand why i've never listened /couldnt /havent been able to listen to the beatles. Im 35.Surprised/glad to see im not the only one. Every musician just worships the beatles regardless of the genre.I cant understand the happy go lucky, or lovey doveyness of beatles type of music. Maybe it'll change but i' m not sure

ville interviews from the alst 12 months are becomming a real comfort watch for me... the way he contributes to my wellbeing, my healthinsurance should propably pay him a little somehting. this interview is really fun. she really gets him to talk.
Finland has the best Gothic bands in the world. I'm sorry but i dont know any other place on the planet earth where we can listen Him or The 69 Eyes or Nightwish or Russian Love or Apocalyptica or Rasmus or Deathstars but I think Deathstars from the Sweden if i am not mistaken. :)

@@1gamz Thank you! It was spit take worthy-- I was like, "What--yah kiddin'!" I mean, I can make a nod toward their contributions to music and still not be a fan.
Finally found a flaw in Ville Valo - he doesn't get The Beatles) Kudos for Suede and Type O though For those who like Type O suggest to read the book 'Soul on fire' about Peter Steele - it's very good, feeling like you knew the man after you read it. He was truly a nice and deep human being.
Of the few concerts I've seen of Him so far, in sofa, there's one in particular that I loved. It took place 22 years ago...I trully think was spectacular... I haven't seen all of them yet, but That's my idea of passing a time of quality....

What a wonderful dude, integrity and humility are rare personality traits in musicians these days. Always a pleasure listening to his interviews.

What is art at any level without drama, drama is just life turned up to its loudest decibels…❤
This is the best interview I’ve seen Ville do! The host asked such great questions that I haven’t heard others ask 🖤
He’s gorgeous inside and out.❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for uploading! Another great interview with the genuine Ville!
She asked him about Peter Steele and then changes subject when he starts discussing him... Too bad....🔥🔥🔥
Such a missed opportunity to hear more about Peter. I was disappointed she did that quick change.

I can't stand the Beatles either haha even tho ik Peter Steele loved them. Ty for being honest Ville.
He had me until he mentioned he doesn't like The Beatles, but then said he was Type O fan and had me again.
This interviewer was just not the right one..but, of course everything he said makes me fall more in love with who he is ♡
