Upgrade your Decedent's sub attack mod. Like Shock Punch. It increases your capacity.

@Ch0p-69 Its level increases, but it doesn't cost anything. When I put a max level shock punch on (nothing else), my capacity goes from 0/50 to 0/60.
Yeah that’s pretty much all that sun attack is good for. The actual mechanic is garbage

Finally, an actual started guide! Everything I’ve seen so far has tips for people that have 100+ hours in the game. Thank you so much this helped no end.
Super helpful advice like usual. The only thing id add is that doing the special operations mission in kingston ( purpleish shield icon), will level you up fast AF. In 10 minutes i went from lvl 12 to 26.
One of the best similarities with Warframe and this are the Master Ranks. Not having to take those tests and just level mastery up is quite nice.
Level 13 was the worst

Exceptional guide. Thank you. This should be a must watch for any new player who wants to know some starting tips.
Also don't try to do fancy builds with a lot of mods early on. Slap atk, element atack, maybe some firerate and crit on your weapon and on descendant just stack hp and def. Damage and survivability without any bells and whistles will carry you through the story.

I personally, dont upgrade any modules until i hit Pyromaniac mission. I just focus on DPS as you can just brute force any enemy prior to Pyro. Once you hit Pyro i start reducing the ammount of Modules and start focusing on "specialty". For my guns, I utilize all the preset slots and have one where i buff up rifling and rate of fire and only really change the element based on the boss

Still watching the video so idk if you mention it later, but when going over the mods. If you boost up the sub weapon mod it gives you more mod capacity for your descendant. Highly recomend doing this

You can also prestige your mod slots with specific module brands on your descendant. It will make the slot specific and start you at level 1 but it lets you cut modded module numbers in half

There's only one vital tip you need to know. It's a Nexon game. Next.
I also found that when enhancing mods, it’s good to have at least one unenhanced version so that if you upgrade need to upgrade one mod, ie an upgraded resistance mod for an intercept boss, that you still have at least a base mod to fall back on. If you delete all of them you might be out of luck.

PSA do NOT keep rare weapons for the substat rolls early to mid game. weapon level transmission does NOT increase substat values. jumping large level gaps will change your 4 gold level substats into potentially white level stats
Regarding external components: there are also rare (purple) and ultimate sets that can further extend the amount of time you might use a component that is lower level. You only mentioned sets when you looked at your storage, and they can drop around lvl 10 so many folks will see them early.
The disable the "tower" objective is a little deceptive, it's more like a pedestal lol. So fyi if you're looking for an actual tower you can stop, you're not crazy, they aren't there. It's the interactable little pedestal things.
You can indeed bring a weapon to higher levels however the random stats at the bottom percent ranges also go up with level so a gold roll stat at level 50 will not be a gold roll at level 100
This is a good guide. I think they got something good going with this game, if they calm down on the microtransactions, expand the endgame, and smooth out combat think theyll have a great game.

There’s a button at the bottom of the screen to automatically dismantle duplicate mods so you don’t have to check one by one

I like how you can remove modules from your weapons and put them on others. I've only been playing a couple days, but so far I'm loving it. Before now, I would play Destiny. Not anymore. Lol.
Where can i find the meaning of those hexagonal icons in reactors? like some of them seem to be lit up and some not

Great guide felt thorough but not drawn out
When fusing weapons to be a higher level the Random roles don’t scale so wouldn’t recommend even holding anything… you’ll have to Re-Roll its Rolls and probably loose the stats you was trying to keep.
TLDR: A lvl 1 weapon with electric atk will be like 10 but at 50 it’s like 1000 if you fuse a lvl 1 weapon to lvl 50 it’s electric atk stat will still be 10 so wouldn’t recommend holding anything

For early game I just use the shop as a quick and early way to farm resources from filling my inventory then dismantling ngl. But when I played the beta I sold the stuff I didn’t need and you shouldn’t really do that because you lose resources and you earn more money just by playing
Can we upgrade external components?
Long time division 2 player here. I started this game last night and enjoying it so far. But as someone who really PVE’d to PVP I’m worried that I’ll get bored quickly.
What keeps everyone playing long term in a game like this? I’m generally curious . Thanks
Sorta the grind for now at least the big end game contents coming later an they'll keep adding descendants so if the content the bring is good hopefully you'll wanna collect dif characters to battle different ways
Get a descendant with fire damage by the time you get to the Dead Bride, I would say!

If anyone knows how to fix twitch drop rewards and get them to appear in game, Id love to know.
I've triple checked that my platform accounts and Twitch account are linked to my TFD account.
-I've watched all the required streams for the designated times and claimed all rewards on the Twitch redemption page.
-I've checked my ingame mailbox, before and after restarting the game multiple times.
Idk what else to do to get my rewards :(

Game is fun. I come from Warframe (played since launch on XBox), Destiny (some Destiny 2, but not much), and both Division games. Just to give background on experience. Ofc I play tons of other games but closest to this (I loved Anthem sad and mad it got dumped via its promises to fix it. HUGE trust loss there to those devs/publisher).
This game gets a LOT rightbut has a LOT it needs to polish out. The MTX side of things I feel, is too steep *for what the game has yet*. Gice it time to flesh out and a few years it may seem worth it if they polish it out and add appropriately to its depth/length/variety.
Its fun. Not so fresh, but fresh enough to be its own thing, and looks absolutely amazing. Its engaging, for what I experienced so far.
I am torn on being too specific on what all it needs as I have not spent enough time with it to be properly subjective/sure on those proclimations, but have a generalist idea whats in store/what I feel it needs. Thing is I am not in end game so cannot elaborate properly yet, as no idea whats beyond the nexr corner as I play avoiding spoilers and tips videos that get too in depth beyond guides like this.
UI could use work. Customization locked how it is is wonky, 1 time use colors? Not ebough time spent to notate difderence between regular vs ultimate (only have WF to go one there, its dofferent here it seems to a degree- again, more time needed just reading vs playing, LOL. It pulls you in pretty fast). The games equivilant to forma seems hyper expensive too.
But the game play is fun enough and pulls one in enough. Idk if it willchold as the grind fest to me is limitedhaving a family and house to run plus full time job working 60+ hours a week. So unsire how much it will stick to me vs games with cheaper MTX hops for gear, or faster grinds.
May jump back in tonight. Game is fun but feels like it missing something, cheaper MTXs as a side note. I just cannot put my finger on what it is missing (no, not PVP lol). That bothers me, not being able to exactly put down what it feels absent on. I guess time will either allieviate that or allow me to elaborate.
Regardless, fun game hope all enjoy it! If the MTX cost is fitting for you great! It wouldn't hurt me per say, but value to dollar feels a bit off to me, so not investing in it too far, at all..for now. I can for sure see how MTX costs may be limiting to some, for sure.

Hey Ebontis. Fellow D2 player here, and subscriber. I'm just trying to figure out how to unlock Vespers. I've got one descendant at lvl 40 (Bunny), and another one close. I don't know what I'm missing. This game is frustrating.
Pretty sure at the end of each zone, you will need to successfully complete the colossus intercept they assign you before the next zone unlocks. Good luck.
Yes beat the void intercept to access each new area of the map

I was struggling with pyro yesterday and i mean i got carried through it but after watching a couple videos i know what ive been doing wrong i shouldve leveled 2-3 mods fully for my guns but i was trying to fill every slot and upgrade them all a bit then wondering why i wasnt doing more damage 😂😂😂
Glad u got carried I breezed thru the game I'm already in hard mode but I was struggling finding good teammates I was fine I did everything possible in my power but my teammates just kept dying
So i'm just going to assume you can't upgrade a reactor's or external components lvl like the weapons which sucks.
I hope the NPC guy selling and buying weapons in Albion Falls off the Map W/ No Respawn. I’ve purposefully did missions just to sell guys for like 10million gold. This guys rich because of me but you do get trophies for this hehehe I’m still kinda a winner.
For the love of God, pick viessa as a starting character. At some point your going to want void shards and your going to need ice and electricity to farm them efficiently on har mode .. bunny covers the electricity.
I hope you stick with the game It is fun I like the gameplay better than Warframe
@Gabriel3Gamu may I ask why warframe is probably my main looter shooter I've been enjoying this game too, though there are things that feel like they need fleshed out to me though for sure for first descent.
@@gggggggggg44100 for sure a lot of quality of life improvements and simplification of menus. I enjoy the shooting more than the hack and slash. I also got into toooo late for warframe. At least for this game we are all learning together

But the u.i and the way the game handles as a whole I think is better then Warframe
I will say though my only complaints are extremely fixable
They need to fix the English dubbing

@Gabriel3Gamu I have been enjoying it. For me it's movement is janky, the micro transactions are way to steep. Game is fun but i worry what the end game will be. Warframe is pretty fair for a free game. I can't speak on destiny as I do not play it. Hope to see you all on the grind. Gonna at least finish the story and some end game before I cast to much judgment

Basically Warframe, from Mods and matching mod symbols with mod slot symbols, Mastery, pay to speed up research, etc. Almost a 1:1 copy (not a bad thing...do what has been working for Warframe)
The amount of theft is insane. Common from Korean devs though. I actually would consider a lawsuit if I was DE. It’s that bad
They need to address ammo economy, difficulty spikes and XP grind speed. If this game stays like this it will last 6 months. A ton of potential but it’s showing it’s NEXON foundations.
if you want ammo economy play with a enzo, you will be drowing in heavy ammo
Realistically, they likely have stuff like that on their road map. Let the OG players spend all their time grinding, then shorten the path to endgame for players who come later.
The one thing that irritates me with all of the NPC vendor. If you want to call him them, is the training robot. You can't read what he's saying fast enough to have any kind of clue of what you're doing. It's like he's skipping the narrative so you don't have to talk to him

I e just started playing it , I'm a warframe player so I'm disappointed with the motility and the grappling hook sucks and so does melee on the 2 characters I've unlocked but the gun play is decent ,pretty much just a copy of Destiny
Grappling is complete garbage. Ammo economy is a joke. They don’t have juggler or anything to assure you’re no running around with no ammo. It’s a basic if shooter game design and they don’t have it. Both this issues were brought up to them during beta and they’ve done nothing
do not over look munitions boxes and resource boxes when transitioning through the game , thank me late

Tip#1 Play Warframe
Warframe vet and I can't stand that they just keep releasing frames. The game needs some end game content that is difficult. Everything that comes out can be done by noobs. They need to bring raids back.

Warframe is certainly better overall. It has been 11 years of the same formula, like Destiny there’s a lot of fatigue from those franchises

Viessa is exactly who I chose.... she is insanely fun... :P and I do a lot solo :p I also play a crap load of Warframe ( and did 8 yrs in destiny ) .... its all about how you set up. :) Viessa is just fine :)
