As a clemson fan, college football needs Nebraska back, a giant coming from the center of the country is needed!! Also, I love their uniform!!!! I look at it lime this with their schedule, win the games your supposed, that gets you 6, win just 2 of the other 6 more difficult games and your at 8!!

If we lose those because our Freshman QB does Freshman QB things, that's probably ok. But if we lose those because the team as a whole is still making the dumb mistakes, I'll be pissed

At least a bowl game. However I look for them to do at least 8-4 with a bowl win. I think the possibilities for this team are very high. We must remember this is only year two for these guys. Now next year's a whole new ball game. GBR TTB ❤❤
With all of the positive momentum right now, we must remember that Dylan is still a true freshman and has yet to take a snap in college. There are going to be some growing pains. I'd be happy with a 7-5 regular season, and I honestly think that is our floor this year with the ceiling being 9-3, which would be incredible. All signs point at us being there or better, but there will likely still be a "should win" game or two that we drop. Let's be excited and realistic at the same time.

One thing that isn't talked about is what Nebraska's defense would have been without all the turnovers and poor positions.
It's definitely been talked about, especially during the season last year. I think it has been overshadowed by the signing of Raiola and some of the other recruits and transfers, but our defense should honestly be top ten in the country based on the returning players and our schedule this season. If Raiola can protect the ball and maintain drives, it could be a very good year.
It is not only the win total but how the wins are. I would think 8 wins is acceptable, but nine or more every year is what I look for. But it is how the wins are against teams that the Huskers would have blown out back in the past that I want to see again. No more one score wins or losses to teams Huskers should beat by two or more scores.

Yeah and after that game they had tons of injuries, were beat to hell, and won only 1 mote game. They put it all out there and fizzled.. We got like 7 sacks that day lol

Honestly, if we're being real, 6 and I'm happy. Haven't been to a bowl since 2016, just get there and I'm feeling good. I do have a feeling we get 7 or 8 though.

2021 Nebraska. Best 3-9 team all time. Couldve been one of the greatest teams all time, but 8 one score losses and a 9.point loss Ohio State. Matt Rhule is brewinf something big. Just wait. It kind of is a shame that Scott Frost could never get over the hump plainly because he played here nd grew up here. Imagine what he coulve been if he didnt get drunk all tge time.
I think 7 is the line in the sand. 6 Just doesn't feel like enough progress, 7 is on track for a big leap next year, 8 is awesome jump from last year, 9 is setting up the fan base for unrealistic expectations the next year.
8 minimum. Less than 10 will be a little bit of a let down. They should have had 9 last year despite having an anemic offense.

a 6 win total and bowl game will be a monumental accomplishment and something that has not been done in what?? 8 years???? 6 wins will require Nebraska to win 3 or 4 games against teams that are accustomed to beating them. Additionally, they will more than likely underdogs in most of the games they play. Don't get this twisted, I think the Huskers are improving,, but put the kool aid down and be realistic..... 6 wins and a respectable showing in a bowl game is just one step in the right direction.
8 wins, 7+bowl game win or 8 with a loss and I'll be content. More is awesome, fewer is disappointing. No bowl game would be close to catastrophic without at least some storyline to justify it (like the crazy 3 win season or multiple QB injuries, etc).

Although 10-2 seems unlikely, the only losses I could stomach would be @ Ohio State and @ USC. Losing to USC would be pushing it to 😂

They go to OSU at 7-0. Lose there, and finish the season at 9-3. Looking at that schedule, I can see 11-1.
If everything goes well with a little luck 9 is not out of the question.
5-7 or 6-6. people need to put down the Kool-Aid glass. They thought the basketball team was going to blow out A&M and the baseball team was going to the CWS. For the last 10 years, Nebraska has been a BAD football team.
bringing up that basketball team shows your lack of knowledge in the last 10 years at nebraska. Nebraska basketball has been bottom three since 2016 until literally this year when we went and got 3rd. no one said they would blow out A&M and it was a long shot that we even made it to the tournament. bad coaching put them behind in football and I have watched every game of every season and Rhules 1st year you could see so much different then with frost. Football has its best roster since tommy armstrong days and has their easiest schedule in a long time, to say 5-7 shows you are not much of a fan of sports in general especially with your reasoning.
