Helicopters are a military’s most valuable assets, improving both its maritime surveillance capabilities, and its armed helicopter heavily punch against the offensive arsenals of the enemy in sea battles. The Westland Sea King first flew in 1969 and was adopted by the Royal Navy in 1970, fitted with British avionics, can carry Sea Eagle or Exocet missiles for anti-shipping duties. Westland built the last Sea King in 1997. These helicopter have been exported to a number of countries, including Australia, Belgium, Egypt, Germany, India, Norway, Pakistan and Qatar.
Now, Age is taking its toll, near-55-year-old. Sea King utility version used by the British Royal Navy, the last of these utility helicopters was retired in 2010. Australian Navy has already retired these helicopters and now Qatar has decommissioned these and sold to Pakistan. However It is still in service with many other operators but most operators have replaced, or are planning to replace, the Sea King with more modern helicopters, such as the NHIndustries NH90 and the AgustaWestland AW101.

@@abdulrafaynawaz1335 well the fact is that pak can't compete with indian navy india has inducted 1 scorpion class submarine and 1 vishkhapatnam class destroyer worth 7500 ton which is twice the size of pns tughril indian navy is going to induct 1 aircraft carrier next month ins vikrant worth 45000 ton which is 10 times larger then pns tughril ....indian navy is also going to induct ins murmugaon (vishakhapatnam class destroyer) and mh 60 r romeo submarine hunter helicopters first batch is going to arrive this year...and indian navy has inducted 2 p8i submarines hunter and servilance aircraft (all this equipment has been or is going to be inducted this year 2022 )...so that's why he is saying to also get some knowledge about enemies ships ( note pns tughrils displacement is 4200 ton)..
