Neel Kamal is a love story that transcends centuries and reminds us that love lasts forever. Chitrasen (Raj Kumar) a sculptor is killed after he requests the King to grant him his daughter, Princess Neel Kamal (Waheeda Rehman), in return for his exemplary service. Centuries later, Neel Kamal is reborn as Sita and is married off to Ram (Manoj Kumar). However, Sita's mother-in-law (Lalita Pawar) sees her walk outside the house late every night and starts suspecting her character. Ram also despises her after seeing her return home late in the night. But is Sita really guilty? If not, then who is responsible for wrecking her married life?
