    5:11 also for this one, to save a little more time, you CAN just plug in c, and it’ll give you a slider, where you can move up and down to figure out the value of c, and you also can click on the slider to change the range of what c could be if it reaches its maximum/minimum(its default is 10 max but you can make it bigger)

    also for the math question 22 with the variable C instead of just guessing each value until you get it correct (someone might settle for 20.3 or something just barely off..) I would graph the parabola and you can see the max y value with desmos when you hover over the graph at the grey point so then you can just plug that value into the y value for '2y=c' and get the exact answer much faster

    While specific Digital SAT questions are confidential, here are five types of tricky questions commonly found on the exam:
    Data Interpretation: These questions require analyzing and interpreting data presented in tables, graphs, or charts accurately. Look out for subtle details or trends that may affect your interpretation.
    Word Problems: Tricky word problems often involve multiple steps and require careful attention to detail. Focus on identifying key information, formulating a plan, and checking your solution for accuracy.
    Logical Reasoning: These questions assess your ability to apply logical reasoning skills to solve problems. Expect scenarios where you need to make deductions, identify patterns, or evaluate arguments.
    Advanced Algebraic Concepts: Tricky algebra questions may involve complex equations, inequalities, or functions. Be prepared to apply advanced algebraic techniques to solve them.
    Geometry and Trigonometry Challenges: Look out for geometry and trigonometry questions that require a deep understanding of geometric principles or trigonometric identities. These questions often involve non-standard shapes or configurations.
    To prepare for these tricky questions, utilize LearnQ's resources, such as AI-generated practice questions and simulated tests, to familiarize yourself with various question types and hone your problem-solving skills.

    • @WillKranenburg

      These scores mean that you understand most of the section, but are still missing some of the most tricky questions. Go back and look at the questions you missed on the practice tests, understand why you missed them, and make sure you understand how you fell for the "trick" of the question and avoided the right answer.

    The questions hardly call for any mathematical knowhow but they stand to show how the SAT is hard simply by way of being confusing and misleading. I’m in college and have passed calc 1 and 2 and I still had to reread the RG question like ten times after trying to factor it a million ways to finally realize that the coefficients on R and G represent point values and not the number of tokens won instead of vise versa like I initially thought; because no normal person would write a nonlinear equation in those terms.

    • @WillKranenburg
      @WillKranenburg  Před 23 dny

      Yes, this is how they get the distribution of scores they are looking for - writing questions that most people will end up missing

    • @deananderson7714
      @deananderson7714 Před 19 dny

    • @WillKranenburg
      @WillKranenburg  Před 21 dnem

      They are challenging to some and straightforward to others. What makes them hard is that they are written in order to trick a large majority of test-takers

    • @deananderson7714
      @deananderson7714 Před 19 dny +1

      Most questions on the SAT aren’t particularly hard. The challenging part is having to answer them quickly and taking the test for a long period of time

      @@Zhaosijie Yes, it is interesting how you can solve some of the problems with the calculator alone. I believe that on the actual tests (or so I've heard), they made the math a little bit harder so that you couldn't just plug things into the calculator to solve.
