There are a few exemptions to the rule ofc. I cannot always hear them but my FilAm hubby can hear it better than me and after he points it out it - i start hearing it. But then, Filipino accent is okay. Being bilingual is not something you need to be ashamed abt. Most Americans can understand it and hear it esp with the spread of US based callcenters in the Philippines.

When I watched this on Glee my tears automatically fell. I was so proud of her and of course to be Filipino. The legendary boxer is Filipino, the phenomenal couple is AlDub and now, the most amazing voice that gives your whole body goosebumps is also a Filipino. I loved her and became a fan since Ellen DeGeneres so I was happy she got her chance to have those beautiful voices be heard worldwide thanks to Oprah and friends. I miss CHARICE but I’m glad for all these videos that fans posted. Thank you! CHARICE will live forever in this videos and in my heart but now Jake Zyrus is here to keep us true fans happy with his blessed voice. Two for the price of one. If you can’t accept him then that’s your problem cos whatever he wants to do with his life is his prerogative and no one else’s.
