Seeking a new life in another country appears to be the next trend for 20-something Koreans! A growing number of graduates are saving their money and studying foreign languages with the aim of moving overseas for better opportunities. Increasing educational expenses, high youth unemployment and skyrocketing housing prices are prompting an increasing number of young Koreans to leave the country. However, trying to leave all your problems behind isn′t always all it′s cracked up to be. This week, special guest Tyler Rasch will be joining our Newstellers for an insightful talk!

I kind of feel that Pae Sujung is sucking up to the Korean audience when she says "[20:56 - 21:05] I think Koreans have the sense of taking care of their own--their own being anyone with Korean blood." Why say this in front of such a congenial panel of 'foreigners' currently working and living in Korea? What purpose does it serve?

taking care of your own blood as she says its all good but it is a double edge sword as well because it help to create rejection for non korean or mixed race people by saying that your not really a korean and you will never be, it helps create discrimination as well even if korean are really welcoming of foreigner they will always be foreigner in their mind... But its changing and it will take time as well for sure...
