- The McCalmans came to Coal Aston Village Hall, Derbyshire, for their last ever English gig prior to Ian McCamans retirement at Christmas. They performed a superb couple of sets to a highly appreciative capacity audience.
In the audience was ex McCalman Hamish Bayne. The whole event was hugely reminiscent for many of us who had been involved with The Cartwheel Folk Club for many years, Also on the bill were the definitive version of Cartwheel - Nick Gibbons, Tony Wood and Geoff Heppel who supported the Macs along with ourselves, Scuppered. Let's Recycle is Ian's take on the Midlothian Council's approach to recycling, words taken from their extensive brochure on the topic. - Hudba
Utterly brilliant. I'm just so grateful I have most of their albums, they were a sublime group and their harmonies were unsurpassed.
I love that song! Saw their last concert in Roskilde, Denmark.. I'm gonn miss them, they were always wonderfull

So funny and so true.
I used to live in Midlothian and this song is totally descriptive……but I’ve now moved 20 minutes down the road into another county and it ‘s a completely different system……I’ll be going to prison soon !!!
Love Nick's headtoss XD
Just put the subtitles on - hilarious!.....
I've just spotted this comment and turned them on, wonderful translation - compiling subtitles is not an exact science is it !
Understanding sorting the garbage spoiled a week of my 14-day vacation in Lochaber. So I decided to take my rubbish with me back to Germany ...
