I used GPT4 (Now Claude cause I like its UI better) to tutor myself into playing Guitar, learning ableton, and learning how to sing.
Im going to try to use it to teach myself HTML, Python, and Spanish before I'm 30 :)
Its the ULTIMATE TUTOR.
People really need to take better advantage of these AI resources to study better and faster. However, I feel people will still hold on to their pride and want to study by figuring things out on their own instead of having a machine tell them everything. Interested to see how society progresses around AI but I think a good chunk of people want to hold onto traditional yet more difficult study methods simply out of pride.
It's honestly more than pride. I have used almost all of these tools and have canceled almost all of these tools and it has zero to do with pride and exhausted from the hype. Very few things work as intended and the $20 a month for every subscription that barely works. There are maybe 2 or 3 useful tools and everything else has been overhyped - subscription fatigue is real
Infact, artificial intelligence is better than most mentors and teachers on the ground. At least they are unbiased and less judgmental. I don't know if subscription is worth it, I've never subscribed to even free services unless I feel the necessity.
The difference between ppl who can't afford to Google for 2 hours to find all the relevant resources to learn one topic well.
And ppl who yuse the resources that they could easily access (or worse read just one book) and say " I have learned it"

Active learning (using your brain to figure things out) provides better results. Due to its increased retention rate.
This is why you can feel like you learn a lot from education CZcams videos, but still fail a test on the subject you 'studied'.
Videos like this inspire me so much to just continue learning, there's so much we can do with AI

I used Chat GPT-4o to build a detailed study guide: a syllabus, exercises, practice problems, and projects that have a story along with specific requirements that need to be met, for each subject of study.

Remember, it's all about progress not perfection.
Gpt-4.0 is good, but when you want up-to-date coding it sucks...and you gotta figure it out the correct ways by lookng on stackoverflow, reddit, etc... when or if gpt4.0 comes with that kind of "rag" research will be better to use.
Agreed, it's more about asking the right kind of questions, but that requires some level of prior knowledge.
Your way of style is amazing, with a few edits in your videos, you can gain more viewers

@@evaoliwson3211 yes but they require some sort of "basic" / "start up " knowledge, what i recomend is watching tina's video titled , i recommend you watch a video on youtube entitled "the map of computer science, by domain of science, it'll give you the gist of it, then you should watch tina's videos about data science " How to learn data science in 2022 (the minimize effort maximize outcome way) "

How do I consistently self-study something that I hate studying/doing? I can't afford college, so I've been teaching myself web development, and I've learned the basics of html, css, and some javascript, but i dont know how to be consistent because I hate even the thought of coding. I only want to study coding for the money.
