Like this if MDJ is the best NBA CZcamsr with a 40 inch vertical
MDJ is Jeremy Lin with a 40 inch vertical
Korzemba with a 40 inch vertical
*80 inch vertical
Jxmmyhighroller actually has a 40 inch vert though
Actually
Damn this man is relentless with the jokes haha. I used to view this as more of a stats/logic basketball channel, but MDJ has some pretty on point humor
Peter Virden
He got a comedy channel too lmao
The Notorious Michael Jackson Shakur Prime Infinite what’s it called?
Dude his best joke was still that "I cost less than Chandler Parsons"
I was finished😂😂😂😂
This dude funny
We are too nice. Yes we forgive you.
-A Canadian
@M why are you here
@M then leave m8
What's an A minus Canadian? Are Canadians nice AND self deprecating?
GOLDEN STATE FACEBOOKS VS CLEVELAND WALMARTS !!!
Imagine the scene at Walmart after JR Smith dribbled the clock
A TANK BOWL!!!!!
As a Canadian this the best video you've made yet
Lebrun Jemz that’s so true aye?
Ye as a Canadian I can agree
get LeBich out of my face
Bruh before seeing this title I didn’t know I would even care about this. Then I checked my notifications, saw this title, and said huh. This seems interesting
Finally something different. Really great video!!
Awesome video, best one I could find that sums the story up quickly. Though I would absolutely love a full docu-series that covers everything from the invention of basketball and literally everything up until the present day. I really want to know how the game and the NBA as a company has developed since their respective inceptions.
I’m literally writing a 6 page paper about this tonight for my History of American Sports humanities class! This information is not easy to find and I can tell you have done your research! Great video, like always!
Brooo…I know you have been done with that class, but that sounds like such a cool class!
What grade did u receive for ur paper..from a real blk American
Only one Canadian has watched this so far
Abhay Katyal watching *

Whose the first NBA superstar?
Nobody: Lance Stephenson
No mikan

Halo
I fucking love your channel. One of the best for nba community that offers a different style of video thats more technical and analytical. Plus I love your presentation and delivery. You should have a million subs.
This dude funny as hell😂. Love the mix of deep insight and quality humor on this channel.
Thank you man, helped me write my essay.
This is a the best video I’ve seen a CZcams in a longgg time. Instant subscriber
Bro I love your stuff that much. Informative Funny and just all round entertaining. Keep it up brutha loveeee it
Great video as always
Such an awesome video man, thanks for keeping the old days of basketball alive. It's important to remember how we got here
Great video. Thanks for making it.
God your channel is taking off. You deserve it. Best basketball content on CZcams for sure.
Watching you from Greece. I like your content. Keep up
That was a delight to watch. My Dad played for and coached the Zollner Pistons. Fred or Mr. Zollner made all his money making pistons and sold a lot of them during WWll.
wow, this is mind-blowing
In Chinese Basketball Association, the team's name is literally named after the sponsor. Beijing Jiutai Bank Tigers.
These types of video is when MDJ is at his best, comedy plus educational content.
I learn a lot today, thanks!!
Great vid Marc, first time I ever see someone looking into basketball beyond the NBA
SOME of us were ABA fans when that league was still alive.
The movement history of some of the franchises like the Kings or Hawks is crazy. I went to a minor league hockey game in Rochester once and they have an NBA title banner on the ceiling of the old arena there. Syracuse too.
I don't think the Pistons won a championship before they left Fort Wayne - and I'm pretty sure the arena they played in has been torn down since.
The arena the Pacers won 3 ABA championships in (Market Square) got torn down some years ago - but I think they transferred the banners in the move to Conseco.
I liked this video, because I learned things I didn’t know and also because I find you to be quite an endearingly funny man.
Great video!
Great idea for video.
Respect 👊
Absolutely amazing, thank you so much, this is just an amazing piece of work.
It’s 17 minutes long and just came out.
r/wooosh
Did I just woosh myself 🤦🏽♂️
Awesome take. Love this vid
It's not even been 17 minutes since the video has been online and we have 2 dislikes.

Thats because people w/ common sense know that this man did not invent basketball.!
@@shayc.1025 What are you talking about?! You have absolutely NO proof of that!
This is one of the most entertaining basketball video I've ever seen 😂😂
GREAT VIDEO...THANKS!
Entertaining Channel and TEACHING this Channel is everything My life told me!(This is my first time watching you thank you)
fire vid man
roast UK ball, we suck and we have no funding for it even though its one of the largest sports and growing bigger and bigger in popularity....
You have some quality street ballers but yeah, the only UK guy I can think of is Luol Deng which only kinda counts since he started as an African war refugee. 😂
Thank you! Living in the UK sucks.
Any time basketball and UK are in the same sentence, 99% of the readers will think University of Kentucky.
Very cool video, thanks
Great documentary!
Do a video on former teams! There’s a lot but it’s really interesting I think. I had no idea Toledo had a professional team and I live there!
amazing video as well
Love u bro🤙🏻
Great vid, BnTeT!
Lmao I love u bro ur vids are hilarious and great
Incredible video
Excellent video on my favorite game.
Probably my favorite video!
Really enjoyed the video! Also, want to add something. Argentina was a FIBA founder, but not the only South American country where the sport early came. In Brazil, basketball was introduced by YMCA itself in 1896. Rio de Janeiro was the home of the first YMCA in Latin America, founded in 1894. Something similar happened in other South American countries. The first five editions of FIBA World Cup were played in South America. Also, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay played in 1936 Olympic games. Salute from Brazil!
That recap from 1957- was the whole reason i watched this
Good thing you mentioned us, your Filipino fanbase! Love your videos btw!
This vid got me rollin’, but super interesting at the same time
Thank you for giving me answers for my Basketball Essay
As a kansan, I'm confused and pissed that we don't have an NBA Team. The Jayhawks will do for me
The Kansas NBA team would likely play in Wichita.
@@SylveonMujigaeOfficial probably wichita or kck
Wichita has a good basketball arena. I live in Kansas.
@@SylveonMujigaeOfficial I'm from overland park and currently live in kansas too!
@@johnwesleyhuss2327 Too bad I live in Hays, in Northcentral and Northwest Kansas. I would rather live in Eastern Kansas where there are more people, like Wichita, Topeka, Hutchinson, Salina, Lawrence, or Olathe. I was born in Kansas City (on the Missouri side), but I lived in Arizona for almost 9 years from late 2006 to early 2015, when I was very young. After tensions between my father and mother over a mobile game, they separated and my mom took me back to her roots in the Midwest.
I remember seeing this old mural for winning the state championship when I was a kid that was a team picture of kids that went to my high school in 1926.

great video, thoroughly enjoyed it. For what it's what- it's not the STUD-BAKERS. It's pronounced "Stewed-uh-baker" it's a type of car named after the business that manufactured it. Sincerely- an old guy
I won tickets to a Nuggets game but I don't really watch the sport. I'm going to take my brother for his birthday so I'm just here to see what some basics I should know.
So thank you. Your video was enlightening and entertaining.
that's cool! Glad I could help
Do a history of every NBA team!
Bro u had me dead with ur harden joke 😂😂😂💀
Most underrated CZcamsr
Coming from a french Canadian .. don't worry about it its really funny you can go harder with your joke (we know its a joke)
btw i died at amateur or amatoyare (as you said)
As a French guy who likes your channel a lot, I'm not even mad, that was hilariously wrong, but it was amazing ^^
You should make more videos on early NBA history like George Mikan, Bill Russel and Bob Cousy and Wilt Chamberlain
It feels like an event to me every time you upload Marc! How's school going for you so far this semester man?
Thank you sir 🇵🇭 Salamat
Continue please more brief history 😊

Nice video
NCAA had their first national championship in 1939.
The NIT had theirs in 1938.
From there until the early 1950's the NIT tournament was as big as the NCAA.
And often teams would play in both.
But it was rare to unknown for a team to play in both tournaments in the SAME year.
12:40 studebaker (stood - uh - baker ) was a car company, like chevrolet. they were dope cars too.
great vid, thanks for the deepish dive. all the best, as always.
Lol studbakers. I caught that as well.

Well-done account of the Greatest Game's early history... And you're funny as hell.
CELTIC Chuck Connors w/ what looks like an inbounds pass. he was the 1st NBA player to shatter a glass backboard. 'the RIFLEMAN'. outstanding athlete, who also could act on TV and in the movies.
My first french class in a decade is starting in two days. I hope I can be as good as you someday, bro! (I'm a Filipino with a Canadian citizenship, btw. It feels like this video was made for me. Haha)
How’s it going
The first major professional basketball league was the American Basketball League which operated from 1925-1931. It then suspended operations until 1933 but came back as a minor league. The next major pro league was the NBL in 1937, the forerunner of the NBA.

Such a fascinating era. Too bad there is barely any footage remaining from the 1890s-1960s.
Can you make a video about the ABA?
SeatGeeks marketing game is strong asf Jesus Christ I see them EVERYWHERE😂
I am sharing this.
lol anyone else catch that Ron Baker was also Naismith's student who suggested "Naismithball"? Good touch
You made me laugh. You’re a rockstar.
