Bonus video: Copenhagen metro ''drivers'' view! Osterport to Orientkaj / Oresund to Airport

Promised, delivered! Here is the Osterport to Orientkaj M4 line and M3 from Oresund to the Airport. At some point I hope to record the M3 and M2 fully from start to end, but this is a good start! Metro’s are stupid, build only trams/light rail instead.

Hi! Yes, all common transit modes have their uses, trams and light rail too! But for the large city of Copenhagen, and its narrow streets downtown would not make for a good place for trams, sadly. A metro can cover more distance and do so safer underground, away from streets and vehicles. A metro can also support larger capacities needed with keeping a big city running. To add to this, Copenhagen is in fact building a light rail, to work as a circular service for the western half of the city. This will work to accommondate for trips that do not need to enter the city itself to reach their destinations. Smart! This is a brilliant way for Copenhagen to benefit from light rail :)

That argument is just as stupid. I can’t imagine how the traffic in Stockholm would work without the metro, to mension one city. Every mode of transportation has it own purpose. And Stockholm and Copenhagen and the other Nordic metro cities (Helsinki and Oslo) is not even large cities compared to Tokyo, Moscow, Paris, London and New York. Metro’s might be stupid where you live, but in almost every greater city in the world they are the cornerstone of transportation.
