@@lindamemo5224 Yes, he did make 20+ videos, one video of each resort hotel. Check out Chris Provost’s channel. There’s so much information on each of these. Best review I’ve seen of all the hotels. One of our favorites we stayed in was the Riviera Resort. It’s on the Skyliner, is luxurious and comfortable. Our other favorite is Animal Kingdom. My kids loved that resort because of the animals on property like Giraffes, and it is also luxury.

And you're stuck with us telling you to take care of yourself! :P
Strongly agree. That will allow you to end as strong as you began. The final Animal Kingdom Resort review was markedly abbreviated and superficial compared to the earlier ones. So many wonderful features were overlooked out of exhaustion, in contrast to the thorough reviews of resorts such as Wilderness Lodge or the Contemporary.

Rather than all of the Disney hotels around the world, I’d vote for all of the Universal Florida hotels. Living in North America, I’d probably be more interested in that just because it’s going to be a more common/realistic destination for me so I’d probably use more of the tips! 😊
Agreed. And I would add staying at the California resorts would be good for the same reason.

Yes!!!! Please stay at every Disney hotel. I was addicted to this series and looked forward to it daily after a long day of work. Amanda you have amazing ideas and Chris does a great job making us feel like we are there with him!!!! So grateful for all that your family does!!! Thank you for giving us Disney Magic daily
Awesome job Chris! I agree with your assessments. Just wanted to add some perspective from my experience for anyone going soon.
The best overall area in my opinion is the Epcot hotels. This is because you get convenience to two parks not just one. Of those hotels, Swan and Dolphin should be seriously considered. This hotel has an incredible lobby, large nice rooms, and debatably better restaurants than Boardwalk / Yacht and Beachclub. There’s an ice cream location near the exit to the friendship boats that has really good milkshakes (I may have over indulged). If you want a Disney Hotel here I would recommend the Yacht Club for all the reasons Chris said.
Amongst the Magic Kingdom hotels I think the Polynesian and Wilderness lodge are definitely the best.
The Wilderness Lodge hotel is overall better in terms of the facilities and the tranquil feeling it provides. I live in the Pacific Northwest and it’s amazing that they’ve been able to duplicate that vibe in Florida. Granted it’s not on the monorail but the boat to Magic Kingdom is pretty quick. You can also grab a different boat to the Contemporary Hotel and get on the monorail there. Be sure to check out Geyser Point bar and grill outside. It’s really special!
The Polynesian is wonderful but it does get crowded and has an older feel to it. If you’re there, try to get on the waitlist for Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto ASAP. This place is amazing but very hard to get into.
The Grand Floridian is supposed to be the best hotel at Disney World and definitely has an old money opulence feel. For me that’s just not my vibe and I felt it was cold compared to other hotels. It does have some amazing restaurants though plus the lobby is worth seeing. Stay somewhere else and go to the restaurants. 😉
Of the value resorts, Chris is 100% correct just go to Pop Century. It’s the best value and has the Skyliner. Don’t bother eating at any of the value resorts. The food is horrible to be honest. Go to the deluxe resorts to eat or check out the better restaurants in Disney Springs.
In terms of the moderate hotels, I really love the vibe at the Caribbean Beach resort. Just walking around there feels like a vacation and the views with the Skylander in the background are so relaxing. The big knock on that one is that the rooms are incredibly dated. You can see this in Chris’s video. The light switches look like they’re from the 1980s and the air conditioning system is a wall unit that’s normally found in cheap hotels (PTAC’s). I really hope Disney updates this property so that the rooms can match the wonderful atmosphere outside. The Port Orleans Riverside also has a great atmosphere but it gets dinged for transportation options compared to Caribbean Beach.
I think Animal Kingdom Lodge is quite possibly the best resort in terms of the facilities. The negative there really is just transportation. It’s so far away from everything else (excluding Animal Kingdom park which is super close). If you want to spend a lot of time at the resort and love Animal kingdom Park this is your jam.

I think Amanda has an amazing idea. Maybe not all in one trip. But definitely a goal for every Disney park you visit. Than next should be the Universal parks around the world.

Warning: Getting reservations for Tokyo Disney hotels can be difficult specially for the newer Fantasy Springs hotel…They sell out quickly, as someone who has done it before here are some tips: make sure your card works in the website (we tried Wise), book the day the reservations launch, don’t forget to book the restaurants as well cause they sell out! Good luck
I would do Tiers for Deluxe Resorts..
Low tier borderline Moderate resorts would be Saratoga Springs, Old Key West (they are like basic Florida condos)
Mid tier Deluxe would be Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge
High tier Deluxe would be Beach and Yacht Club, Grand Flo, Contemporary, Bay Lake Tower, Polynesian, and Boardwalk Inn.

Honestly, one of the best lodging analysis I’ve ever seen. Your commentary was clear and raised some very important points, particularly when it came to food choices, and location. I’m a true fan of Universal, however, and I’m hoping that someday you’ll do the same thing for their properties and then possibly a price comparison which I am sure will show that universal is much more reasonable than Disney. No matter, thanks so much for your in-depth analysis.

We have enjoyed Pop Century on two occasions and didn't have any faults with them. We have since moved to the Hilton next door to the Disney Springs. A lot cheaper and a very nice hotel and the buses at Disney Springs are close by.

Gotta love Amanda! I think it’s a great idea, provided you get some rest in between stops. It was evident you were exhausted after WDW. But! You did an amazing job! Thank you.
One of the primary reasons some of us stay deluxe besides park proximity and better transportation options (other than AKL) is the dining. Especially signature dining options. If you are staying at a MK deluxe monorail resort you have access to four regular sit down restaurants, three signature and two top tier bars (Trader Sam’s and Enchanted Rose) - plus Victoria and Alberts but that’s for the really big spenders and at a completely different level. If you review the resorts again on something other than a whirlwind tour - you should more fully explore the dining at all the deluxe locations. Old Key West and Saratoga Springs don’t have anything exceptional- but that’s because they have easy access to everything at Disney Springs.

Hi Chris and Amanda! This Disneyworld hotel series was great! And Amanda's idea to go to all Disney hotels around the world would be insane!! But I would be invested in it.
Went to Japan in January and went to Fuji-Q Highland! I think you and your family should go! There's 4 big intense coasters that I'm sure ya'll love. I'm not sure if Miles would be tall enough, but maybe sometime in the future ya'll can go there!
Another thought, all Universal parks/hotels??? That would be a great series too!

I wouldn’t want to put Chris through staying at every Disney hotel around the world. I think just reviewing 1 or 2 of the best at each park would be good. I would be interested in seeing a review of the Swan and Dolphin at Disney World. I can stay there using Marriott points and I understand that it has many of the same perks as the deluxe Disney resorts. Great job on the 20/20 challenge! I know that must have been hard.

DVC. Makes a huge difference in each resort. Grand destinatino is the DVC tower at Coronado. Opened about the same time as Riviera tue DVC added to Caribbean beach. Staying in the DVC building resorts is not the same. Grand Floridian added a DVC wing. Poly is adding their DVC bldg. contemporary has its DVC bay lake tower. Wilderness lodge has its DVC cabins at cooper creek. Also some resorts were built with conventions in mind. Do your homework when choosing but have fun wherever you land. It’s all magic

What if you did say “spending a week living at Disneyland resort in California” - and that way you can break up the 4 hotels in the 7 days and have more time for everything. Just a thought so you don’t have to squeeze everything into 24 hours.
Please make sure to schedule in multiple days between each country!!! Not only to adjust for time, but also to recover from the stress of travel! Especially with international travel, please be sure to stay healthy and rest up in between. ❤
You didn't stay in the Treehouse Villas! We stayed there last summer. Technically it's not a separate resort because it's connected to Saratoga Springs, but the feeling is entirely different as you're out in the forest and up in the trees. We absolutely loved it!

You can also walk to the Magic Kingdom from the Grand Floridian. It’s a little longer than going from the Contemporary but it’s a really nice walk. If your really ambitious you can technically walk from the poly if you walk towards the wedding pavilion and GF

Love these videos. I might say, the Contemporary is as close as you think, when we left Magic Kingdom to walk there, the Contemporary was about the size of Monopoly hotel. It seemed like it took a long time to get there. LOL

Great Voyage, but too bad you missed one great resort, A cabin at Fort Wilderness Campground. The great activities that make you feel like you are camping, but don't need a camper.
The cabins have changed. They are being transitioned to only be vacation club.
Family room at all star music is actually better the one at art of animation layout and comfort wise (without considering theming or skyliner).. look it up 😊3 beds all actual beds (not sofa pullouts) one of them in a bedroom, 2 full washrooms and a full kitchen
