Great review. I've had this in my collection for a while and I've always enjoyed it especially for the price. In my opinion it's tobacco done right. This and CK One Red Edition For Him are two of my favorite from the CK One Collection.

I find that with 5 sprays, I get maybe an hour of projection and perhaps 5 for longevity into skin scent. You have a silver atomizer which came in pre-2017 bottles. The recent ones have black atomizers (unless they changed back in 2018). What's the batch code of your bottle? That's the most important part of the review and can really affect a review.. Most bottles issued after 2014 is going to have been reformulated.. My 2017 bottle is disappointing in performance.
Went to Ross yesterday and found CK One Shock, Mont Blanc Individuel, and F Black by Salvatore Ferragamo. Enden up buying the One Shock for $20, and was blown away by how good it smells for the price. And it smelled really familiar; some cologne I smelled at Macy's last week. Dolce & Gabbana The One.

Nice, you have the silver sprayer one. Mine is black. I get a cherry cola vibe off the top. Sweet cherry tobacco with some spice and some amber underneath. I love this stuff.
My question is what year batch is his bottle if he has a silver sprayer. That skews the review because the older bottles are said to be stronger. My 2017 bottle with the black atomizer doesn't get the performance he's talking about.

I just bought this yesterday here in Edmonton Alberta Canada retail for 75 bucks at shoppers drug mart for the 100ml. I really was shocked at how awesome it does smell. But my has a black atomizer not silver like yours and the scent faded fairly fast 😕
The review is very close. I don’t get the “medicinal” thing out of it though. I don’t see this fragrance as youthful but to each his own. Cool weather only....seriously. I’m back after a year. This is a great fall/winter frag folks and maybe the number one”cheapie” in existence. As he says, not for the office. It’s really an evening frag

Insurrection wild is a lot more cherry and sweeter, ck shock is like a fresh version of insurrection, ck shock has much of the obsession base in it with the cherry tabaco twist.
It opens up with a strong ‘pickle’ smell that some say is an energy drink scent; Really gross. After about 5 to 10 minutes that smell dissipates but is faintly there and the cardamom starts to come through, yet it still has that nasty zing of the ‘pickle’. About 45-60 minutes later, the tobacco comes in. The cardamom is the only thing that is good about this but everything else that is bad, is still there in the profile, distracting and not worth it. Buy la nuit de l’homme instead and get the good in this X10 but without the bad. Maybe I’m picky but coming from having smelled just about every expensive designer fragrance, It’s hard to go backwards to a $20 scent and think it’s good. This has a very youthful scent; some thing you buy for a kid in middle school or high school, if you’re a man, buy a real cologne.
This is one of the most disgusting cherry cough syrup colognes I've ever smelled. Glad to hear you called it medicinal. I'd give it a 1.5/5 even on the scale of bad colognes; I'd give Sean John Unforgivable a 4/5 on the scale of bad colognes because it only smells like cardboard, nothing offensive.
I'll second that about the longevity. The batch date of the bottle in his hand is so, so important. Reviewers on CZcams rarely mention batch codes and with almost everything eventually being reformulated, those who watch reviews a year or two from now, or those reviews from 2-5 years ago will think they're getting the same formulation.

The spray-painted SHOCK screams youth... It’s a very good sexy fragrance. Still smell it on my shirt a week later.

If you don't want to spend the money on PDM Carlisle, get this. I have both and CK One Shock does a damn good job at coming close.

It might be your skin, I really don't know. Some people have complained about the performance on this one however.

There are better choices than this. The longevity is poor also. I know it's cheap but I would pass on this one. Just my opinion.
