I really like how this guy did what he truly thought was cool, and encourages other people to do the same.
Thanks Andre! I do encourage others to do the same! Think outside the box, be creative. It's fun!
What a great van... so much to look at...
It's easy to fall into the trap of trying to be era-specific when outfitting one's van. I like how you take ideas and parts from all different eras just because you like them. I especially like the church key antenna holder. Made me laugh out loud. Pure genius! I'm also touched by how you incorporate your family history into various areas. Great job! Keep on vannin bro!
Thanks Man that means alot!! Glad you like the Antenna tie down, I just wanted something with some flare instead of that plastic one and just came up with that one out of the blue..probably had too many beers working on the van that night!
@@MrMuench Where do you get van parts like flares and such nowadays?
I have owned 4 Chevy G20's in past 25 years... Way too go:)
@Mike Bell
You have and late 80' grill...
Single is late 70's/early 80's
Single round that most wish to have is 70's
Thank you for sharing your van it is very nice and interesting. Plus very nice at the show at night . Just shows hard work pays off .
Thanks Alan!
This just the funkiest mini museum ever!
Love this guys laugh.. reminds me of a good friend of mine who passed away 2 years ago..
Wow! So cool!
Had old Chevy just like that cruising around listening to Fleetwood Mac on my 8-track stereo brings back a lot of memories thank you
Awesome love your passion.
Quality build and style, I genuinely hope i can be as cool as this guy one day.
Big Blue is the very best I have seen so far. Thanks for the great advice about the dash and seats. Especially the words of wisdom about cutting holes. I recently bought a 79 G20 and having to remove the entire original interior. Mold and Mildew where it sat in one place on a wooded lot for 11 years. Your van has given me inspiration! Thx
Sweet!! Thanks for sharing BigBlue great stuff inside and out!!!
Munch, you rule! This dude is a cool cat and lives and breathes van culture.
SWEET old school don't see many vans but even more rare customized vans glad some people are bringing them back I hope they become popular again......😊
Hi from all us vanners in NZ,I Love these vans. wish we could buy them in New Zealand, Not many of them are here so we have to settle for the Japanese vans and they are a bit smaller. Great vid, William
I'm really digging this van. I'm looking at a 76 factory two tone blue. This is the look I'll be shooting for. Thanks for sharing.
That thing is sweet! Backdate what you want and keep what you like! Love the dashboard.
92-95 G20 Shorty is my fave van and that one is superb. Owner/builder has done a brilliant job. Kudos to you Mr M.
75 GRANADA MADE ME LAUGH LOUD , great Van. Looks like you put your heart n soul into it.
That's a nice looking van. Like the vibrating bed bice! Abd the wing door. I got 75 van needs work but in 70's in told it was big then. Hope to soon start working on it.?
Wow I just love the van man I grow up in the 70’s
Inspiring van brother cheers
Incredible! Just got a 97 g20 that I’m going to build out. Thanks for the inspiration.

Nice looking van, inside and out. A big thumb up to you!
I like that you kept the exterior simple. But the interior is really done up.

Hey fella, thats a real nice proper van. I was a member of the NSVA in the UK in the 80's. I'm starting to get an itch for another van now! Keep the shiny side up buddy ;-)
Your attitude and Van is Beautiful! I'm hoping to buy a 92 G20 from a guy any day now!
That's insane, I love it!
old body style , is so cool, shame they changed it, now it looks like a refridgerator on wheels, my old 1995, gets looks, comments, and people offer to buy it , almost daily!,
can't beat, cast iron engine block,, chev.,, trucks !, built like a rock!,, no b.s., !!!
The pre 1983 decals and the pre 1986 side marker lights add some charm to this van.
NICE NICE VAN BROTHER LISTEN I DO LOVE THE GRILL IF YOU LIKE IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE NICE 👍
Absolutely fantastic!
I’m just getting started on a Chevy 2018 2500 I’m going to try to tie the old school 70’s in to it . Half the fun is the build
Awesome van! Built with its own style. That's what it's all about. 🤘😎🤘
Really nice van, a real labor of love. Top guy too 👍
Hey brother, really nice van I would do it up 70's also who cares if it's a 92, it's still cool, nice job I want one. I grew up in the 70's when Van's was the hot thing, takes me back. 🇺🇸 MERICA

Love the van. I wouldnt change a thing. Its perfect already That gen Chevy vans are beautifull..
I like this guy's mentality. Stock and nice goes a long way. But...I will have to say the earlier 4 eye grilles are GORGEOUS!! And I've got 4 fords at my house. That should say something.
Very cool van

Sucks I was born too late to truly appreciate the van life
your'e right!, after 1995, they messed up!, glad you kept the grill , good lookin van!, keep rockin',,
Hey mate. Nice to see your Chevy Van. you quickly take me back to the late 70's and early 80's yes. Those were good days at that time, a completely different environment then, we had much better personal contact we who were friends. yes, in a small town, where we were 4 -6 groups of friends of about 3 to 12 friends in each gang. Yes we always had something to do, it was always best to be the toughest gang. toughest? yes, it was, for example, befriending a girl friend, or inventing cool things such as inventing things no one else was able to accomplish. asked the deaf you look perfect as one of us guys. you. yes we went around in small places had with guitars gathered people in new places, that it was so good after visiting a place where the youth talk loudly about us afterwards, to dig our car. our tough "Daddy-Ccool. has hundreds of stories from that time
Coolest most original van ever!
LOVE THIS VAN! HOPE TO SEE IT IN THE FLESH SOMEDAY (MN NATIVE)
Very cool van dude!
I have a 1994 Chevy G20 and it has the original conversion still, it's called a "gladiator" lol but my point is your van build is inspirational to me. 🤙 I've been thinking about renovating mine and giving it more personality.
Thanks for sharing yours man!
Take care and stay healthy...#coronadays

Love That Van!!!
Wow, that steering wheel is a priceless family heirloom.
Love it. 👍
Very awesome!
I love this van. The wing on the back looks like it might be from a '70s TA.
Super cool van! He did a great job putting this one together it looks cool on the outside and in the interior. I have a cousin that's hardcore into these. He owns one as well but it's not to this level
I just learned g20s where made intell the 90s I would of thought it was 80s it looks awsome
Nicely done, and your back wing is actually a dust reflector the old station wagons, Jeep Wagoneers and a good handful of SUVS. I've always thought they would make a good wing lol . I had a Isuzu trooper that also had the back dust reflector above the rear doors. My favorite place here in Missoula is a home resource they have a little of everything, plus antique and thrift stores is a good place to find oddball things. I've also had luck finding some things at a donation furniture and appliance store. This summer I got a thinner queen size mattress that looked like new out a RV or camp trailer for like $20. I'll cut it down to a full size to fit but no springs and a full length zipper. I've also think a front loader wash machine or dryer have round thick bubble windows that might make good side porthole windows lol
Got a Gothic vibe from the mirror in the ceiling. Cool :3
These vans are so cool I'd love to have an older one but some of them have to much shag and carpet for me not for me lol I suppose that's the great thing about it still today though is find an empty one that's gutted out and start fresh build it how you like it these vans are so awesome love the ace of spades windows man so cool.
nice van. cool.
love love love
Love it!
That's just awesome
My first van was Dodge 100 Tradesmen 318 Sunset Red with green shag throughout. CB whip antenna, tire on rear door with boss tire cover. Cool wheels US mags with wide in back regular in front looked very cool,
Love the gull wing door!
