I have 3 Lexa TW 400HL, the major issue I am having is the water goes inside the handle that should be sealed what they claimed. I open them all, the 1st reel have rust inside the bearing, cast control and I have to clean also regrease it, 2nd is almost having a build up of rust and save it by regreasing it. Likewise, I would recommend putting salt away grease right away to your Lexa TW, you don't have to open it just remove the handle, put a lot of grease on the top and inside the cast control, so you don't have to go through my pain. I love Lexa, I wish they can fix this issue and make the 500 size. The reel cast so well, never had a backlash since I got them all, and I use them for shore jigging and vertical jigging in the boat.
bro daiwa baitcasters are absolute trash. IF you want sealed from a major brand you can go shimano tranx. Or find an old curado. Other than that an old calcutta or abu ambassador are sealed and have metal bearings. Some of the JDM reels are okay, we get trash versions, the Daiwa Luna is okay, but id still buy a $100 calcutta over them, when it breaks jusrt get a new one for the price these brands charge in shipping. Okuma better, Van staal very good. buying expensive gear saves you in long run especially considering Penn, Daiwa and Shimano dont honor their warranty
@@badm.d I do have 2 Shimano tranx 500 using for jigging never had an issue the only problem with tranx is outdated, the tranx been for out a long time since they release it, and they need to update their tranx 500. Used to own van stall vr50 silver never liked it, sell it, I have okuma Komodo and Penn fathom low profile it's okay I used it on kayak.

Hey Brooksy, was just curious do you have any like Australian Bucketlist fish that you aren't able to catch where you live? or in your state? something like a big South Australian Snapper or a Blue groper from WA maybe even something like one of those big surf Mulloway they get around the South Australia/Western Australia border? just something thats not avaliable to you currently. mine dream bucketlist fish right now is a big Tasmanian trumpeter

I just purchased a ikari fs64-5.5 for some jigging in NW WA just wondering if this rod will have the power to raise big fish off the reef in 50m or so before being bricked? After receiving the Rod I’m questioning wether it will have the response? Beautiful rod but might be under gunned? Cheers mate.
