    The ESP 32 has a two core processor! So, you can do TWO things at once. There are a few more things that make it far, far superior to the other MPs. But, all in all I enjoyed your video.

    It's true that Raspberry Pi can have a proper operating system and serve as a computer, but it can also serve as a micro-controller, or both. There's lots of pins to attach sensors too and other electronics. You can run python Arduino, C, etc. on it to control the electronics and/or whatever else. I like to think of ESP32, etc. as the assistants to my Pi's and Windows computers.

      Excellent view point. Agree with you on the function. It would just be an expensive micro controller if you choose to use it for that purpose

      I have ZERO exp. I am looking at building an ambitious project that will use RPI as the overarching controller, with either arduino, or ESP32 to control multiple components. @@RevengersHammer

    you can use esp32 as a very good emulator. There are also some very good graphics libraries on the esp32 like fabgl for graphics programming and making games. Is an interesting area to get into.

      @RevengersHammer  Před rokem +1

      What emulations have you run on ESP32? I’ve only tested RetroPi thus far on my Pi3b+

    • @johnwilliams7999
      @johnwilliams7999 Před rokem +1

      @@RevengersHammer you can emulate for example ancient computers like bbc and then program the fabgl using things like that. I believe snes can be emulated as well as other older 8 bit computers

      It’s not so popular here in South Africa, and it’s about 5 times the price in our markets. It’s priced closer to a RPi (second hand) but at a fraction of the computational power. To each their own I guess
